Sieg Heil is what I think.

Brainwashing and torturing children is abuse. These kids are tormented by all that they've been taught. This is nothing more than a Nazi youth group. It's a glance of everything that is wrong with our society. These poor kids are tomorrow's terrorists.

I'd say it depends on which one! I haven't seen the dvd of the documentary yet, but some of them look truly scary.

But the concept of Christian camp is great. I went to a non-fundamentalist Christian camp as a child, and there were some of the best memories of my childhood (fun, there was a lot of freedom, the staff treated the kids well, and the Bible songs and teachings were done in a way that kids could understand). It was a huge part of what started my faith.

Sad when kids get abused and brainwashed in Jesus' name.

I am a heavy believer in free will and freedom of religion. That being said, the "Jesus Camps" literally brainwash children beyond religion and into politics. Praying TO Bush, not FOR Bush, TO him, is clearly idolatry in the worst way...praying to a person who plays "Christian" but is really all about money and immoral. They tell these kids that if they don't worship, vote for Republicans and pray constantly they will burn in hell. That is going too far in "teaching" children about their respective religions. Being a religion teacher, my statement is "Teach them, don't force them."

They sound a bit like Hitler youth indoctrination camps only without the emphasis on healthy fresh air and exercise. They won't produce well rounded and productive members of society that's for sure.

It freaks me out. I hope it wakes people up though when they see what kind of child abuse and brainwashing goes on and there is nothing that can be done about it. It’s perfectly legal. I hope everyone in America watches it and I hope that it makes them aware. I think it has a little. I think people are starting to wake up.

Pure child abuse. They are turning those kids into little christian robots. Reminds me of the Hitler youth in the 30's.

Scary. I used to go to retreats similar too, but not quite so bad. Lots of christian music and holding hands and swaying...I always felt very uncomfortable. To answer your question specifically, they breed hate.
