what religon was Jesus? and does he love everyone or only people that follow him. is it also true that non-christians and people who don't believe in god will go to hell? also they say that Jews are the special people of God what about the rest of us? what are we? those who are not Jewish?

i have seen my grandma and grandpa i have seen them in my bedroom and they have died when i was young my grandma 2years old and my grandpa died when i was 12 . and they have come i have see them but no one else can see them . im i crazy ? i even told my mom and dad what my grandma was wearing and i was right . she was bured in the outfit i told my mom and dad.

People insult others even when the others have not done anything wrong. Sharing your opinion already gets you hated by a bunch of people on this category. I think a new sub-category called war should be opened, to keep the people who fight seperated from the peaceful ones. This way the peaceful ones don't have to deal with being called idiots and such.

Can people keep it peaceful in answers and have their battles by e-mail or instant message? Yahoo answers is a cold war instead of a peaceful place to obtain a response your question.

different meaning than it does today? --as in, did it ever mean something like "thinking and doing" as opposed to the word "think"s meaning today?
To put things in context, I am looking at phlippians 4:8 and how this verse is often used as a pretext for positive visualization in new agey and positive thinking circles.

We do not know anything other than what is obtained through our senses/emotions, and what is in our thoughts, in my opinion.

How can we fathom anything immortal and infinate (and existent)? It is impossible. It would not just 'go on forever' as there would be no forever, forever implies a 'before' and an 'after.' In the same way, though there is a concept of what perfection could be like, we cannot truly fathom existent perfection - how could we? We have never experienced it.

What about the people who had already discriminated towards cultures in the past. For example, where do you think Hitler ended up? Can you specifically quote scriptures that does/does not support racism. How does God feel about people who are racist and what do you think about the ones who are? I am shocked and appalled by what other people on YA! think about certain races. What makes you think that African-Americans are all bad-especially black women? Do catholics believe in ghosts? This hypothetical question is aimed at religious people only. Nothing against atheists or agnostics at all, it simply doesn't apply to them.

If someone who you didn't know personally told you that God had spoken to him last night, and that God had told him how to carry out His will on earth, would you believe him?

If you WOULD believe him, why? Doesn't this mean that you would believe ANYONE who told you this? Keep in mind that ANYONE can say this without having to provide any evidence.

If you would NOT believe him, why not? Certainly you believe God talks to SOME people, why not this man? Keep in mind that our Bible was written by men who said that God had spoken to them. We believe them, why not believe another person who we do not know personally?

Please answer in the following manner:

'I would believe him because...'
or
'I would not believe him because...'

Thanks. I'm asking this because someone I didn't know well told me that God spoke to him. I believed him. He was lying.
