We do not know anything other than what is obtained through our senses/emotions, and what is in our thoughts, in my opinion.

How can we fathom anything immortal and infinate (and existent)? It is impossible. It would not just 'go on forever' as there would be no forever, forever implies a 'before' and an 'after.' In the same way, though there is a concept of what perfection could be like, we cannot truly fathom existent perfection - how could we? We have never experienced it.

Sam, however well-meaning (or not) you may be, saying 'I cannot fathom immortality, in my opinion' has a totally different meaning to 'we cannot fathom immortality, in my opinion.' And I meant the latter, which is why I said the latter.

We believe what feels right to us. People imagine a picture of god that feels like god to them. We are only here for a short period of time but people still need faith, something to beleive in and if they can't find it they'll create it.

After your question you start a statement with "we" should you not have used the word "I" since you end the statement with "in my opinion."? That is the key phrase in your question, in my opinion. Opinions are like butts, every one has one. You are the one with the problem fathoming anything immortal and you again use the word "we". Do you have a frog or monkey in your pocket? Any way, anything I would say is of no consequense because you have an opinion and I have a feeling you won't change it. You are just hoping for others who may feel the same way OR you are trying to get some people really ticked off. I don't agree with you and I am NOT ticked. I think your question has many gramatical errors and I even chuckled a little. Thanks for the little laugh!

I guess that's what faith is all about, to believe strongly in something you you can't touch or feel or see. Information regarding God is all explained through the Bible and ONLY through the Bible which is the Christian's only tool to preach the gospel. It's all through faith and hope without human scientists to explain their human knowledge of things.

because God lives inside me, that's how.
Christians are indwelt with the Holy Spirit who opens the eyes of the believer to God's Truths.
"For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness;
but unto us that are saved it is the power of God."
1 Corinthians 1:18
"Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools".
Romans 1:22
"The man without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned."
1 Corinthians 2:14 (New International Version)

We don't know all the things about God, but His Word and His Son allows us to obtain truth about God.

Actually it is pretty simple,all you need do is believe that Jesus was and is who He said He was,and once you have this embedded in your heart then all that Jesus told us about God clunks into place.
