I was raised Protestant, my mother became a born again Christian, I became an atheist, then a Christian, then a spiritualists, studying many different schools of though on spirit, soul, god etc. I had known muslims all my life and never gave it a second though ever that I would become a muslim. I mean they where lovely people but I knew just as many Catholics, Hindu's, Sikhs, Jehovah's Witnesses etc and never had a second though I would become any of those either. Then one day speaking to a muslim friend I said something out of ignorance, not anything derogatory just an assumption about women in Islam and they corrected me very patiently and politely and I though well maybe there are many other things I am taking for granted are true but upon looking beneath the surface could learn more. I went to my local book store, bought a Quran and started reading. Of all the questions I had about faith all my life where suddenly answered. I read and asked questions, but what does this mean, how can this be that.....etc etc and it all just clicked into place. I read God say the words "trust in me" and it was literally like my heart burst open, I had a lump in my throat and tears in my eyes with an overwhelming feeling of "this is it, I am going to be a Muslim". And I did and I have never looked back. I love Islam I love everything about it, the people, the health aspects, the science, the unity and of course the all encompassing feeling that I am on the True Path that I am submitting to the Will of God. I have read and studied so many ,philosophies, schools of thought, religious and holy text and for me there is nothing that compares to the Holy Quran, Masha Allah.

Islam was not invented until the 600s a.d. Jesus was Jewish. He loves everybody. The Bible says some people ( not necessarily those that don't know God) will go to hell. The Jews were and still are God's chosen people. We (non-Jews) are gentiles. The message of Jesus was rejected by the Jews so Jesus turned to the gentiles who accepted it. It is God's plan to one day have the Jews accept Jesus, thus both Jews and gentiles can be saved.

Jesus was Jewish. He preached His Father's Word. (The Old Testament of the Holy Bible - also known as the Torah.)

Jesus loves everyone. John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son. Who ever believes in Hm will not parish but have everlasting life. 17 God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world but to save the world through Him.

However, the salvation He offers everyone is a gift. You can not earn it. You must believe in Him...follow Him.

John 14:6 Jesus answered, I am the way, the truth and the light. No one comes to the father, except through me.

The Israelites (Jews) are God's chosen people. However, as a Christian, you are adopted into the family of God. He (God) won't distinguish us (Gentiles) from the Jews. We are all one in Christ Jesus.

God loves all of us. That's why He sent His Son.

I would recommend reading the New Testament of the Holy Bible. It is the absolute authority on the birth, life, ministry and death of Jesus Christ (Jesus of Nazareth.)

You can read it on-line for free...

Jesus loves everybody. Jesus came from a Jewish family and all 12 apostles were Jews. Jesus loves the Jewish people he came from and all other people. I doubt God will destroy or condemn anyone because of the religion that they were taught as a child. God is Love

Jesus was, and is, the King of The Jews... He was a rabbi of the jews...Jesus was also Fully God.

God loves all of His creation

The Nation of Israel (the Jews)are God's chosen people. But they have rejected The Way He prescribes.... for now... many will find The way in the end.

Only those who come to God in The Way He prescribes will receive His free gift of Salvation and will become of theBody of The Church of which Jesus The Christ is The Head. Those are the ones of The True Christian Faith... only those of The Church will enter Heaven....

You may email me any honest question concerning the basics of the True Christian Faith... one honest question will receive one honest answer to the best of my ability.

Jesus received His knowledge from Our Father, a bit different than we do because He was born with it. I am sure worldly knowledge would have been included in this, the knowledge of God is of everything. He taught the true word of God. He has love for everyone, but can only share it with those who seek it. God has plans for Jesus to reach the hearts of millions and millions, even those who don't know Him right now. Every person who accepts Christ as their savior is a special person in Gods eyes. We are the children of God. Pretty cool, huh?

1) Jesus was Jewish.

2) Mohammed (Islam's prophet and God's/Allah's messenger) came @ 622AD, which means he came several centuries after Jesus.

3) Orthodox Judaism's belief is in that they are the "chosen ones" by God. Gentiles are all the rest of the people in the world.

4) If you convert to Judaism, you will no longer be Gentile, but it depends what "type" of Judaism--there are many.

Hope this helped you.

what religon was Jesus?
Jewish

and does he love everyone or only people that follow him
Yes

is it also true that non-christians and people who don't believe in god will go to hell?
If they dont believe repent and accept Jesus as their God and Saviour, then yes they will go to hell according to scripture.

also they say that Jews are the special people of God what about the rest of us? what are we?
Yes the Jewish people are his own people, while all who accept Christ are children of God and his own people as well. After the death of christ Jews and Gentiles(others) are allowed to be partakers of God's kingdom.

PS: After Jesus's death on the cross Jews too have to believe in Jesus in order to be saved and become children of God.

Islam didn't come into being until 600 years after Christ. That is a long, long time.Jesus was an Orthodox Jew who taught people to follow God's ways not just the way men had twisted God's words.
Jesus said there is a Hell.He taught about it more than Heaven .It is that serious.

Islam was invented in the 1300s.
It is God who judges people it's really His call with each individual. He told us what to do its our decision to do so or not, since we have free will.
The Jews were a wandering tribe, who through Abraham, learned that one God created us all, that He wasn't stuck in one place like deities in the pagan temples or eastern philosophies; that He could be found in the desert or in the city, in all lands, all peoples were His. He incompasses us all and loves us.
