Your question illustrates why it is important to be aware of certain things when you search out what religion is best for you. A) Mortal humans have limited I.Q. B) God has unlimited I.Q. C) You are a Mortal, therefor to answer certain questions that are beyond your I.Q. and other Mortal Humans I.Q. level you must have God's help, or you will never come to the truth. If God ever lies, then God will cease to be God by definition, because a God does not deceive. Therefor, truth is the ultimate worship. Since God by definition has all truth, it only stands to reason that God is who you should worship. So truth has a leader, and that leader, is God. Truth is immortal, therefor the leader of truth must be immortal as well, otherwise It would not be a true leader. All that is good is based on all that is true. Therefor God is good. Therefor to worship all that is good and holy is to worship God. Truth and Goodness expressed to an infinite degree is the Definition of God. Anti-Mormons gnash their teeth at these expressions of logic, and spend their time calculating how they can destroy the good and truthful with lies and wickedness. The Devil is a liar, and always has been from the beginning. God is a champion of truth. And therefor He is a champion of all that is good. Therefor God is the ultimate and infinite Good Samaritan. Regardless of where you are from, or what religion you were taught, if you follow the logic of what is true in the Multi-Verse, and always will be true in the Multi-Verse, you will come to the same conclusions. The truth is the truth, there is no private interpretation for two and two equaling whatever you want it to equal. Even God cannot make two and two equal anything but four. But the Devil can try to convince foolish Mortals, against the Truth. Without integrity, there can be no perception of truth. Perfect integrity allows for perfect perception of the truth. God has perfect integrity, and therefor His perception of the Truth is perfect, unlike all foolish Mortal Humans. To gain an understanding of God, one must gain integrity to the truth. This can be accomplished by anyone anywhere, regardless of their upbringing. The truth can set anyone free, and the worship of truth, leads to the worship of Almighty God, a being with perfect integrity to the Truth. Government officials lie. Business people lie. Teachers lie. Newspaper reporters knowingly lie. But the Truth shall prevail, after the World is a smoking ruin. Truth is infinite. And so is God. And anyone can find God, and speak to him face to face. If they follow the Truth, then, they will find God. On the other hand, if they follow God, then they will find all truth. All truth is infinite. Therefor a person can have infinite truth, if they will have faith the size of a mustard seed.
