What is about your choice of faith that "calls" or "makes sense" to you?

In my journey to know God it is fair to say that it is His word that calls or makes sense to me. The one verse more than any other is John 16: 13, "Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear (of God), that shall he speak: and he will show you things to come."

Truth is the most defining conciousness that you can operate in. Since God and Truth are the same thing and we were all designed to have truth in us then it is just the most natural thing we can do. First we must take off the blinders that have us convinced that we can do it without that truth. Once we have tasted the reality of truth there is no other addiction that will fit the truth mold in all of us.

That no one can come to the Father God but by Jesus. All it takes is asking TRUE forgiveness with an honest heart and you are forgiven. You don't have to go through rituals, which by the way, man created for themselves. My sins are tacked onto Jesus, the perfect Lamb of God so that I may be saved.

The Bible says that those who refuse to believe know deep down that Jesus and the Bible are true, but those people stuff the truth in exchange for a lie. They know the truth, but reject it, and they are simply liars.

I believe in God ..the rituals from a particular religion.(.in my case Catholic)are important because they are part of the religion...but believing in God is what counts to me...

what " calls" me is that God would love me som much that He would make a way that I could be born again so that I could be w/ Him for eternity & that Jesus would endure the horrible death of the cross to make that possible
