Let me guess, if you are a Christian you are thinking of a reply that would ridicule this claim and glorify Christianity even though they ignore everything about both religions.
The same can be said about Jews refusing Jesus to be the Messiah ! and yet Christians and Jews feel very close to each other while being completely opposite in ideology, at least the Muslims love Jesus as much as Mohammed and believe he is the messiah and that he is coming back. Do supposed Christians actually know anything about the history of their religion and the true history of Islam ???
I don’t mean to disrespect anyone but I am fed up of receiving insults all the time by people who don’t even apply half of what they religion tells them to. Islam tells me to respect the Christians and the Jews and all their prophets, the prophets of God and that I am not Muslim if I speak badly about Jesus or Moses.
Islam says to be kind and generous to everyone and never says to kill for if you kill and innocent soul you go straight to hell. The few verses that refer to jihad are taken out of context and distorted when all they say is to fight back if you are attacked and chased out of your home which is the most normal thing to do in that situation.
You don’t have to defend Christianity or Judaism or even Islam if you don’t believe and/or apply what you preach. Don’t just defend and idea or a belief what your parents forced into your brain when you were little, think for yourself and seek knowledge, for God will not disappoint those who ask him for an answer !!!

Do you believe technology is influenced by satan? I was watching a television show and it said western culture despises Asia(specifically japan) because of all the new technologies suposedly influenced by satan. If its true, I just dont get how ridiculous some religions go to demeanor others due to (to me)skeptical views on faith.

Since I was 17 years old and got saved at a Carman concert in May of 1987, I have tried my best to live by the bible even though I flub it up almost always. But God is good and gracious and very forgiving yet, in todays times it seems like the bible has taken a back seat in modern civilized culture wether here in the USA or abroad. Has God been kicked out? I mean we live in a world where it's illegal topray in schools, Marriage has to be redefined as between one woman and one man, yet they will bring entire continents together to save a few dieing whales and then our governments are swift to disolve and uproot the very backbone of our society, marriages! So hmmmmmm, Where did Christ go in this society, is the bible and all it stands for gone? Are we christians truly the minority, if so, what direction is our country taking? Now that is a scary thought!

PEOPLE - Use the space and make the case.

NOTE: Watch carefully to see if anyone can offer real, practical reasons to treat Muslims kindly as opposed to blind religious giggerish like "you should treat everyone well".

Im look for something like this:

"Yes, we should treat all Dutch people kindly because their cultural view is predominately based on the Golden Rule. There is no evidence now or from the past, that Dutch culture will eventually reach a critical mass and threaten to impose their laws and beliefs.

Furthermore, Dutch people contribute to American culture and embrace it. Making Dutch people feel uncomfortable serves no purpose at all because they pose no threat and are intigrated, thus we merely hurt ourselves, as a country, by hurting them.

Therefore, it doesnt serve the interests of the country to mistreat Dutch people and force them to leave the country because they benefit the country, are part of the country, and pose no harm to it"

Bible quotes:

However, you may purchase male or female slaves from among the foreigners who live among you. You may also purchase the children of such resident foreigners, including those who have been born in your land. You may treat them as your property, passing them on to your children as a permanent inheritance. You may treat your slaves like this, but the people of Israel, your relatives, must never be treated this way. (Leviticus 25:44-46 NLT)

When a man strikes his male or female slave with a rod so hard that the slave dies under his hand, he shall be punished. If, however, the slave survives for a day or two, he is not to be punished, since the slave is his own property. (Exodus 21:20-21 NAB)

Slaves, obey your earthly masters with deep respect and fear. Serve them sincerely as you would serve Christ. (Ephesians 6:5 NLT)

It is a catch 22 thing. I would pray if I believe, but if I don't believe then why should I pray?
As soon as one prays to any God, He surrenders to that idea of God. Why should any one surrender to an idea?

What do catch all's, that don't allow for personal reflection and thought say about religion.

For example:

In Psalm 14:1 we read, "The fool says in his heart, 'There is no God.'"

I've also heard others on this board say, "God is good. So every thing he has done is good. End of story." "It's only truth if it has come from God. Everything else is lies."

Now this may seem like a purely anti-christian question, however, christianity is the religion I'm most familiar with and personally see this from the most. I'm sure other religions have similiar catch alls. I'm sure similiar belief systems outside of religion have these catch alls. But for the sake of the question, please believe that I'm not inherently trying to be anti-christian. Everyone is entitled to believe as they believe.

The answer to that can be found in the bible at Matthew 24:3-14 also Luke 21:7-11. The bible is the only place we can find an answer. At Luke 21:7-11 the disciples asked Jesus, “Teacher, when will these things actually be, and what will be the sign when these things are destined to occur?” He said: “Look out that YOU are not misled; for many will come on the basis of my name, saying, ‘I am he,’ and, ‘The due time has approached.’ Do not go after them. Furthermore, when YOU hear of wars and disorders, do not be terrified. For these things must occur first, but the end does not [occur] immediately.”
Then he went on to say to them: “Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; and there will be great earthquakes, and in one place after another pestilences and food shortages; and there will be fearful sights and from heaven great signs."
We can see that we are living in the last days based on these signs that Jesus told us.

Dog and Wolf interbred. Dog is known to have evolved from the wolf. House cat and bob cat interbreed. thought to have had a common ancestor. Horse and Donkey interbreed a sigh of a common ancestor. Lion and tiger have been interbread others with common ancestors. I would imagine there are hundreds of different species with common ancestors which could interbread and produce live viable offspring. You notice I have carefully avoided mentioning man and monkey but who knows?
