Let me guess, if you are a Christian you are thinking of a reply that would ridicule this claim and glorify Christianity even though they ignore everything about both religions.
The same can be said about Jews refusing Jesus to be the Messiah ! and yet Christians and Jews feel very close to each other while being completely opposite in ideology, at least the Muslims love Jesus as much as Mohammed and believe he is the messiah and that he is coming back. Do supposed Christians actually know anything about the history of their religion and the true history of Islam ???
I don’t mean to disrespect anyone but I am fed up of receiving insults all the time by people who don’t even apply half of what they religion tells them to. Islam tells me to respect the Christians and the Jews and all their prophets, the prophets of God and that I am not Muslim if I speak badly about Jesus or Moses.
Islam says to be kind and generous to everyone and never says to kill for if you kill and innocent soul you go straight to hell. The few verses that refer to jihad are taken out of context and distorted when all they say is to fight back if you are attacked and chased out of your home which is the most normal thing to do in that situation.
You don’t have to defend Christianity or Judaism or even Islam if you don’t believe and/or apply what you preach. Don’t just defend and idea or a belief what your parents forced into your brain when you were little, think for yourself and seek knowledge, for God will not disappoint those who ask him for an answer !!!

Because Mohammed denied who Jesus was.He preached something other that what Jesus taught, and Jesus warned not to listen to false prophets. In my mind,Muslims are not respecting Jesus at all, because you deny who He is,and who He said He is.
I suppose Christians share an affinity with Jews because we share the same God,we share the Old Testament and we share a history of being killed by Muslims after Mohammed decided to go on his assasination sprees.

The truth about the believe that the Christians have and share is that after Christ paid the price and returned to His throne by way of ressurection and ascession, the matter was fully resolved. He promised before He left that He was going to send a comforter (Holy Spirit) who would dwell with the people for ever and also make things clearer to all. This He fulfilled. He also comfirmed that He is the door and that anyone who does not come through the door is a thief. This, among others, form the basis for the believe of Christians. Moreso, the price has been fully paid, there is no need for anyother prophet to come. NO NEED. However, to those who believe in Prophet Mohammed and the Koran, the matter is clearly stated there in as regards the status of Jesus Christ. The only thing you need to, as a person, is to ask God to reveal Himself to you. This will be more convincing. I don't believe you have enough reason to convert when you did.

Christans and jews feel "close" to each other now, in America, because many Christans are american, and the U.S. has always supported a Jewish homeland. Throughout history, both groups have done shameful things to each other, mostly us against the Jews.
If you truly love and respect Jews and Christians, then I commend you greatly. I would like to meet you and talk over our respective theologies, but your position does not seem to be the dominant one, considering the violent persecution of Coptic Christians in Egypt, any Christians in Muslim areas of SE Asia, or Christians in any non-secular Muslim country. Even in Syria, a relatively open-minded country, Christians are advised not to eat out of doors during the dat during Ramadan, although Muslims will eat and enjoy meat, dairy, and products containing olive oil during the Great Lent or Advent fasts, deliberately in front of Christians. I didn't read this on the internet, I learned it from an Antiochian Orthodox girl who's family recently moved here from Syria. Christians do not accept Muhammad, because both the Bible and the early Church Fathers teach that Christ is the final prophet, and the the Holy Spirit guides the Church in the stead of human prophets. This is what the church, the Orthodox Church the Catholics, and even Protestants agree on. Muslims deny the dual nature of Christ, and that he is Go's son. This is as central a Christian belief as you can get. I hope I have explained this theological difference. Aside to the guy who talked about Catholics not being Christian: Unless you are Orthodox or Nestorian, your church was founded at least 1,500 year AFTER the events central to our doctrine... do you not need 2,000 years of accumulated knowledge and guidance?

This is for the person who said Always ask Christians but never give them an answer. Here is the answer and from a Christian. Muhammad is not a prophet he was a lier. Muhammad was for him self, for his lifestyle. Read his life carefully and you will see how many times he follow the bad example of the people of his time that is why he was not leader but a follower. Your prophet killed, raped, looted, encourage violence against innocent people. muhammad even went against his own stetted rules. Basically did whatever he pleased and when that shocked his followers he brought averse from his imaginary allah to justify his action and silence any critic. those are fact about your muhammad and people find these facts from Islamic sources not from somewhere else. This is the truth about your man if liked or not. If you deny these facts you are denying all islams sources. Do that if you can.

Well with that kind of thinking then Why dont christians, jews and Muslims accept Sun Yung Moon as the messiah?

He is the creator of the Unification church. He claims he is the 2nd coming of christ in the year 1918 and that he has fulfilled all the prophecies.

I dont believe in this but there are plenty of other religions im sure that preach they are the 2nd coming of the messiah and that they fulfilled the prophecies of the 3 major religions.

Very nice speech!
Followers of both religions...Christianity and Islam are guilty of condemning each other when in reality, both Prophet Jesus and Mohammad had the same message.
To convince Christians that Mohammad was a prophet and the Quran is the last testament, you may have to show in practice that All Muslims project the truth as taught by Mohammad and the Quran.
Are you willing to do this?

There's no reason for a Christian to accept the quran because there is no reason for the quran. I think you need to learn more about your false prophet before you ask us to question our beliefs. Muhammad was a self-appointed prophet and the only mouthpiece of allah (who is not the God of Christianity). You do not believe that Jesus is The Messiah. If you did, you would not believe muhammad is a prophet.

May God Bless you.

Why is it so hard for Muslims to get that from the Christian point of view, the death and resurrection of Christ was the end. We have all we need for salvation. We reject the message of Muhammed because there is nothing in Christianity (forget the silly comforter arguement) that would give any indication that we should reject the Bible and listen to some guy who lived in the deserts of Saudi Arabia.

I clicked on a website posted in this forum and a Muslim woman was teaching a small girl to call Jews 'pigs'. So who's brainwashing who? Jesus said "the law and the prophets were til John". John was the last prophet. Jesus did not claim to be a prophet, but God Himself. You believe in Jesus but not the Bible? Where did you learn about Him? If you learned of Him thru the Bible, why do you disbelieve what the Bible says about Him. I can't understand how you can believe some of what Jesus said, but not all if you consider Him a prophet. Jesus(pbuh).

Added: Yes, we "brainwash" our children to follow Jesus' message of love, forgiving enemies, being honest, and living right. We don't teach them to say that Jews are pigs.

This is sufficient for me to reject islam and muhammad...

Galatians 1:8-9

1:8
But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed.

1:9
As we have said before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed.

Muslims claim to know Jesus, but deny what He says. You can't pick and choose. You believe all of Him or none of Him.
