Do you think it could survive without the boost of a new prophet?

There will be no more prophets. The Word of God has had all prophecy fulfilled except the return of Christ. That is the next plan on God's agenda. God has told us all He needs to say. It is up to us to respond.

Gods plan cannot be changed and His standards can not be lowered for the sake of any man or any man made beliefs and unbiblical teachings.
the Christian faith is growing by the day and does not matter if some people believe otherwise. the end shall tell when the roll shall be called yonder.

There is a living prophet, and yes, it has done a lot to booster faith in Christianity and Jesus Christ (look up Gordon B. Hinkley).

Of course many Christian denominations continue strong without one, so I suppose it's not necessary for it's sheer survival.

We have already had the SON OF GOD, so why would we ever need a lesser prophet.

There are those who have the gift of prophesy now. There is everything in the bible to last hundreds of years.

For what? we have all we need from His death and resurrection. His message is still relevant today as well.

a booster shot wouldn't hurt the xtian cause one bit. its been a while since the last miracle.
