By mystical experience, I mean through meditation or prayer, you become one with God, or the Divine, or the World Soul, or however you see it after. I don't believe the experience itself makes these limitations, but when we discribe it later we have to put finite words on the experience.

I also am not talking about normal bedtime prayers. I mean an extreme feeling of Unity with everything.

Do you? Have you experienced this? If so, what was your experience in brief?

Often I walk outside and my mind wonders off thinking of different times, different places, and things I need to do etc. but as a meditation to reach a higher state of conscious I want to focus my thoughts purely on what I see, hear, smell, taste and feel.

Anyone know some exercises to synchronies your thoughts with your surroundings?

Or exercises to strengthen your concentration?

I see the argument that the seven days business in Genesis meshes with the estimated age of the earth because a day for God is like 100 million years for us. But if that is so humans have only been on this earth for about 1 tenth of a second in God time.

Is God so fickle that he would work for seven days to create something and then just smash it in the blink of an eye?

But I told him that since he doesnt have time, it doesnt matter where you are to thank God, as long as you thank him.

I honestly don't get why people think you HAVE to be in church in order for God to appreciate your thankfulness.

What can I tell him to help him feel better?

Only people who refer to themselves as Gentiles, are actually gentiles. Who are we to give name to a group of people? I think jews (and all religions) need to start calling people what they want to be called. Its either that, or we have to stop this religion thing. What do you think of that thought?

002.079 Then woe to those who write the Book with their own hands, and then say:"This is from God," to traffic with it for a miserable price!- Woe to them for what their hands do write, and for the gain they make thereby.

Jesus prophesied that all of the following would occur within the lifetime of people living around 33 AD. The time limit he himself laid down has long since expired!

? The stars would fall to earth

? The Great Tribulation & Rapture

? Judgment Day for all mankind

? The Second Coming of Jesus Christ.

Listen to what he himself said around 33 AD to his fellow Jews gathered around him:

“Remember that all these things will happen before the people now living have all died.” (Matthew 24:34 TEV)

“For the Son of Man [i.e. Jesus] is about to come in the glory of his Father with his angels, and then he will reward each one according to his deeds. I assure you [i.e. swear to you] that there are some here who will not die until they have seen the Son of Man [Jesus] come as King.” (Matthew 16: 27, 28 TEV)

So what happened? And why are people still waiting?

Here's the deal, Jesus said in the Bible that to get to heaven we must enter through the narrow gate. Muslims claim that Muhammed and the Quran are simply the last revelation of their god who they claim is the same as the Christian God. If the teachings of the Bible are valid for muslims and only the narrow gate is doing the right thing could it be that the minority "radical" muslims that are responsible for 9/11 and other bombings are actually interpreting their Quran correctly?

Many gentiles are converting to the Jewish religion. There are also many gentiles who attend Messianic churches and all of a sudden they don't like to be called gentiles but instead they want to be Jews. What ever happened to "Do not covet"??? Why do many gentiles covet the Jewish calling???

hi all , can you please give me your opinon on my poem and any constructive comments that you can give me that may improve my writing abilities, many thanx

War

Charge, they cry with guns blazing
Kill them all you hear them saying
Storming towards the enemy lines
These are bloody and violent times

No mans land is littered with dead
No arms no legs and even no head
Some are still alive and writhe in pain
Running past trying to pass the blame

They shot our lads they must pay
None of them must live another day
Sounds of gunshot rebound all around
The horrible smell of war and its sound

Pain attacks the chest, you start to fall
Medic! You scream, please hear my call
I cannot die this blackest day come rescue me
Oh lord in heaven let them hear my plea

Darkness invades into your terrified eyes
Thinking of whom you would say goodbyes
Will they miss me? Will they know?
To heaven or hell will my soul go?

One thing I have always wondered is HOW do the bible scholars know the time line? I mean, I study it but I can't come up with the time lines....mainly in the Old Testiment like Genises etc.....Like from the time of Adam's first born to the time of his last, then to Noah etc. I have read where people/scholars say it was such and such amount of time lapsed; but HOW do they know????!

By principle, I'm against the death penalty but sometimes you wonder what's the point of letting some horrible offenders live on earth. Especially the ones that harm children.
I don't really believe in God but maybe Evil does exist..
This is the story of a 29 year old who passed as 12 year old 7th grader!!!!! He tried to enlist some young boys in a football club or something before school authorities became suspicious and caught him... So far, it seems no one was molested but imagine if he had succeeded!
People say it's a disease and they can't help it but to go to such lenght, you're obviously smart enough to know how wrong it is...
This is scary to all parents out there....
