Atheism leads us to talk to real people instead of imaginary ones if we're feeling a bit lonely.

hi sifting it's me again. Bronze has a pretty good answer but let's look at the question a little closer. Lonely sometimes means horny. With the world the way if is today it is hard not to have premarital sex .but god's law forbids it . So try as hard as you can to resist. But nobody is perfect But if you realllly try god considers it perfect. caution this is not carte blanch to have sex god knows the difference. Sooner or later you will slip so just confess it and try harder. But if it is just companion ship you seek then bronze-2 has it pretty well nailed. Sleep well and god bless. swindled

It doesn't, though neither does theism. How does someone who is invisible and can't talk to you help with lonliness? Loneliness is cured by being around people, and that's what atheists do when they're lonely.

I live in a bleak hell because I have no imaginary friend. Then I met The Flying Spaghetti Monster. He has no hidden agendas. He is not genocidal, misogynistic, homophobic, or insecure. He does not care if I talk to leprechauns. ( Gimme a break, my friend slipped me acid)

It doesn't. I have real friends I don't need a big made up one in the sky to be there for me when I'm bored.
