When will the sheep stop listening to radio shows and read their own history? Christianity has been the face of death for millions around the globe, especially people of color for untold centuries. The Catholic churh has sponsored more murder than ANY Ayatollah or 3rd world dictator or modern terrorist group. READ your history!!! Sheep!!!

why does god care that moses had sandals on? would an all powerful and all knowing being really care if one of his creations had some shoes on? isnt that kind of... picky?

and what is the main purpose in this? why did it matter?

just out of curiousity, does remembering something, require to you to have forgotten it?

24 God heard their groaning and he remembered his covenant with Abraham, with Isaac and with Jacob.

wouldnt this mean God forgot his covenant, and if God forgot this wouldnt that negate his "omniscience" ?

The bible was compiled in 348 CE by the council of Nicea, where they combined manuscripts and notes with personal beliefs and religous opinions. This event was 350 years after the events described in the bible, imagine finding notes from the renaissance and building your religion from those, plus adding in your personal religious desires, leaving out the parts you do not believe fit your idea of religion. How accurate can this be and how can this be PROOF of your religion?

Following up to an earlier question,

suppose you and I, as atheists, end up in Heaven and God says yes I am real but no I didn't want you people running around telling the others they are going to hell, so you atheists are in, and I'm going to give you the opportunity to stick up for the Christians on Earth who told you that you were going to hell, and to let them in based on your approval.

What would we do? Would you, as an atheist who dies and finds God saying heh buddy, should I let those who condemed you to hell while you were alive,

would you let them into this "heaven".

This question is of course hypothetical, for when I die my eyes will see no more.

Most believers find comfort in praying to an omnipotent, loving God and in hope for eternal life.

While I don't believe these things, I acknowledge that such belief would bring some level of relief from worries about your daily existence.

Would it improve our relationships if atheists began to more readily acknowledge the benefits you experience because of your belief?

Yes, we knock door to door. That's what we're supposed to do because God wants us spread the holy word. My dad hates Jehovah's Witnesses too and I have no idea why??? I'm a Witness and every other witness I've met is kind, thoughtful, caring, modest, etc etc etc. And also, why do people think we're a cult??? We're Christians. We believe that Jehovah is God's name and Jesus is his son... What is wrong with that?

I asked if Christians would argue on behalf of atheists on judgement day and due to the lack of responses I, and other atheists who answered, experienced great disappointment.

I figured that the Christians would be humanitarians, but it seems that many would not act if there is no chance for reward.



This saddens me. Even Moses argued with God on behalf of the calf-worshippers.

there is an argument going around that says, because the ridges of a banana match the ridges of a humans/primapes hands perfectly, it must have been desgined, and the fact that bananas have a handle thing to open it, this proves that it was desgined. i wanna hear you're thoughts first.

at a cemitarty. Wonder when they are dead and when we visit them at their grave. Do they see us, hear us feel us? Cuz my bestfriend is buried is Georgia and I am in cali. I was wondering should I fly over there to visit him. I miss him a lot and can't believe he is gone. You might want to check out some of my answers.I have been telling people to follow Jesus' teaching about love peace and understanding.But that being christian and worshipping him aren't important.Just being a good person is what matters.What if I'm wrong?Maybe I'm the anti-christ?I just thought of something from the bible about the whore of babylon and the people who eat the food she offers or something like that.Maybe I'm the whore.I have been so sure for so long that the things I feel and have been saying are right.Now I'm scared.What if I have been wrong.I have been trying to help people and what if there is a hell.I don't think there is, but what if you are supposed to accept Jesus as your saviour and worship him, and I have led people to think otherwise,and they suffer because of this.I don't know what to do. I really am scared.I hate people suffering,I hate how the world is because of religous differences.This is part of why I thought I have been right.I felt this in my heart.
