at a cemitarty. Wonder when they are dead and when we visit them at their grave. Do they see us, hear us feel us? Cuz my bestfriend is buried is Georgia and I am in cali. I was wondering should I fly over there to visit him. I miss him a lot and can't believe he is gone. Is there way to mourn for them or let them know you miss them or anything or they are gone and can't see or know anything that is going on in this world anymore.

The dead are not aware of anything the living do; they are totally unconscious. (Ecclesiastes 9:5)

However, the Bible promises a resurrection, and we can be reunited with our dead loved ones. (Acts 24:15)

For more information check this link out: It leads to a very comforting Bible based brochure that shows straight from the Bible the hope that lies ahead. It is called "When Someone You Love Dies."

You don't need to go to GA to be with your friend. Your friend lives on in your heart, and you can always find him there.

One of the best ways to deal with mourning for someone you love is to do something positive in their honor--doing it for them. Was there a cause or an activity this person really loved? Help with the cause or do the activity in their honor. Your friend will know.

I agree completely with Pangel. Bodies no longer hold the soul, and they are not necessary to contact the soul. If you've ever been in the presence of someones departed body you'll know what I mean. The person is just not in that anymore.

No. Once you die, you do not get to interact with humans here on earth anymore. If you start talking to your friend, you may end up inviting a demon into your life. You need to seek God and the death of your friend will be easier to bear, although you may always miss him.

I hope that your friend was saved. There is still time for your salvation.

I'm sorry for your loss. However, I am in the group that considers the best evidence to support the hypothesis that there is no afterlife, that after we die, we are no more.

However, you remember him, you knew him. You can keep his ideas alive even if he himself is not. You can visit him by remembering, and 'visiting', the memories you have of him.

Which was more important in life? His body or his personality?

Why is it any different now?

Oh that's really sad. I lost one of my close friends this summer. I really miss her and I know how you really feel. I know from the bottom of my heart that she feels and hears me. However, they might see us in a different way because they're in another world.

The best way is to ask God through Jesus to let them know you are thinking about them.
