Why would they want to delay going to paradise?

Great question. I believe it is because, deep down, they don't really believe any of the nonsense they preach.

Paul put it this way "For me, to live is Christ, to die is gain." Part of him wanted to go to heaven to be with God, the other part realized that to stay here on earth and to continue to serve him was also worthwhile. Why do we not want to rush off to heaven and the first medical scare? Because we still love our families, friends, and don't want our kids to grow up without parents, etc. We believe God can heal, and sometimes he uses medical treatment to accomplish this. Sometimes we die, and we trust that God knows the reasons, even though we don't.

God gave man the ability to make medicines and vaccinations. We would be stupid to suffer or die when there is a simple medication to keep us alive.
Yes, we believe we are going to heaven, but if I have a newborn baby, and I get sick, should I abandon that baby? Should the pastor of a church, who gives counseling to troubled marriages, should he willingly leave his flock behind because heaven can't wait a few more years?
If heaven will be waiting for me all along, why be in a rush to get there today?

God gave us the sense to go to a doctor or take medications,He said my people die from lack of knowledge He gave us the things we need to take care of ourself if we are so foolish as not to go then we are responsible,if your on a liferaft drowning God would want someone to save you and would produce them and i am sure a person would not say no

Because unlike a lot of atheists, we do not want to throw away our lives.
You know, like the lives thrown away because people "aren't ready to quit partying" to have kids, or the lives thrown away because "she can't use her legs, so why would she still be considered human".

There in pain, wouldn't you want pain to go away to? God sayed to live life at its fullest, not to get sick and lay there waiting to die.
