have a friend in this religion...she's a very nice girl, but I dun undstd why she can't even join us to eat (we were celebrating birthday), we did not ask her to celebrate, but just to sit and eat with us.
She doesn't allow her bf who is not of this religion to donate blood.
I do respect every religion, cause I think we must respect that everyone's belief is different, but...ain't this a bit over?

I no this is extream but it happend. I was sleeping one night in my bed and was awoken from my sleep by a Angel. He hoverd over the door to my room above the house. He spoke to me in this way. He had the sound of a trumpet and out of the note which was played midle- C note i understood what he said. Jesus Christ is God and he came to the earth in the flesh FAST. Thats all i've tried over and over to fast but am not very good at it. never herd nothing else verbaly anyway. I no what most will say but believe or not up to you

I ask because of the time gap. 2000 years ago with only a speck of technology. Do you understand, in any way, shape or form how someone could not accept the bible? 6 billion people and he have no proof. Why is mankind so scared that he fears what happens AFTER DEATH? I truly do not understand. I am asking in all honesty here. Thanks

To the point that alot of families are poor because they'd rather procreate as much as they can than take proper care of the kids they already have. The older kids resent being babysitters for the younger but they have no choice because no one cares what they feel or think.

Maybe this has been asked before but, I was just reading a few questions in another section and it got me to thinkin'. Why is homosexuality so condemed by some religions? Homosexuality is mentioned only a few times in the bible but you wouldn't know it by the way some people go on & on about it. I don't understand the intensity that some have over the issue. Isn't a sin a sin? If that's the case, why aren't adulters who have same sex affairs treated as badly? Why are child molester (who don't change...ever!) embraced by the church if they just say they're sorry? Even murderers are looked upon as ok as long as they say they're "saved". Is someone who sleeps with the same sex but leads a good life really that bad? Is God that black & white?

Personally, I don't think so. I'd just love to hear some opinions as to why people who commit adultery or murder aren't condemed like homosexuals are. I think it's a double standard and I'd like to hear why some people do this. Keep it clean kids!

How come Christianity are so sure that you will go to heaven if you are a Christian? Do you believe that the heaven which is so huge up there are only reserve for Christian. What are proof that Christian will go to Heaven, they could be wrong on the day they died, right? What makes them so sure that followers of other religious will not have their own piece of Heaven? By the way, is it mention in the Bible that those who choose not to be 'saved' will not go to Heaven or maybe it means they have to find their own way there? (No offence to any religious, this is just a question out of my curiousity)
