Why, if species have descended from other species by insensibly fine gradations, do we not everywhere see innumerable transitional forms? Why is not all nature in confusion instead of the species being, as we see them, well defined? ... But, as by this theory innumerable transitional forms must have existed, why do we not find them embedded in countless numbers in the crust of the earth?… Why then is not every geological formation and every stratum full of such intermediate links? Geology assuredly does not reveal any such finely graduated organic chain; and this, perhaps, is the most obvious and serious objection which can be urged against the theory.

Is it not so simple to go and read about the monotheistic religions and compare them, then chose the one based on truth and no misconceptions or mysteries......
I am born muslim, it doesn't mean anything until you find out the truth yourself.
Since in Islam we believe that God sent the prophets with miracles and books. lets compare them and read the totat, the gospel and the quran and make a conclusion.
I invite you to worship the one and only God, the creator, the knower of the unseen and the time of the hour. nothing is like him, the most powerful, the most forgiving, the just, the judge the most merciful, the gracious.......
nothing has power to save but him, nothing can challenge him, he created them, he is the king, our Lord, the eternel, the first and the last, never dies, the everlasting, never sleep nor slumber, the owner of the earth and heavens, the right, the most wise....
< there is no deity that has the right to be worshiped but God only, the one, that everybody is

The reason Christians (again, if you are one that doesn't, bless you, you are cool because you probably already know this) argue that being gay is a sin, is because they feel it is a choice, something people have power over.

You have to realize that by saying that you are making huge judgement, which is not your place according to Jesus. There is good evidence that gay people are born that way. Just as you would not judge a schizophrenic person's actions you should not judge a gay person. I am not saying (as was previously believed by the AMA to be so, then shown to be false) that being gay is a mental disorder, but it is something they can't help. Not if they are to be true to themselves. So it isn't a choice.

Therefor, if there is any doubt it isn't a choice, for you to say it is a choice is being very judgemental. Why don't you leave that up to God? It is certainly not anyones place to tell another how they may live. Doesn't Christianity say we will all answer to God someday?
