But why dont they try to do something about those who are?
Why do they try to protect them?
Why do they make excuses for them?

If you are a non-believer in Christ, I assume you know that there are many Christian hypocrites in the Church.

I also assume you know that there are true Christians.

Now, if Christians are called to love people and not judge people, the true Christians would do just that. Not try to convert people, just give advice and love them.

If those Christians love you, why would they lie to you?

If a true Christian loves you, why would they intentionally misguide you?

If a true Christian loves you, why wouldn't they share what God has done in thier lives?

Final question:

Can logic explain love?

How about unconditional love?

Can logic explain the heart?

"Doug, stop throwing Pascal's wager in my face."

I'm not throwing anything, I'm offering what I have. A relationship with God is far better than anything I ever understood before.
What simple, logical thing can cause a person's heart to change?
God is supernatural.

Abraham, wasn't it? Seems like God would be more impressed with someone who refused to kill anyone. Personally, I refuse to discriminate against gays, I refuse to own slaves, and I refuse to throw stones at my adulterous neighbors. Is god happy with me or upset?

Yes, we should pray to Allah(swt) 5 times a day, but the Quran does not forbid us to offer other prayers to other gods.

I pray to Mohammed Ibn Allah, Buddha, Vishnu, and occasionally Ra the son god and to Zeus. Who are some of your favorites ?

This is not at all meant to be an offensive question. Rather, I'm wondering if there are some believers who have faith in God and at the same time they realize that some parts of the Bible are not true. Maybe that's better stated by asking if any think that some parts of the Bible are not an accurate reflection of the truth.

Any child psychologist will agree that it's wrong for parents to teach their children that they're NOTHING without God

I copied the comment below from a Christian

"our lives are based on praising God. We have no right to praise ourselves, because we as human beings cannot do anything apart from God"
