Dear Self Love Follower,
I watch the Discovery channel all the time, Animal Planet and nature progams. Worked at a Zoo for over 10 years. I'm a Christian. My bolts are pretty tight, though I've been known to shake 'em for the husband every now and then.

Peace.

Ah, those are some of my favorite channels! I love National Geographic specials, Animal Planet always has fascinating stuff, and "Mythbusters" on Discovery is my current favorite program. "Are You Being Served" from BBC is hysterical, and "Monarch of the Glen" was a wonderful show that I'm enjoying in rerun.

I'm also a Christian. . .how's 'bout that for some tight bolts! :-)

You say "dumb" and you can't even spell "once"?

I happen to watch all those channels and there were at least 3 documentaries in 2006 on Discovery and National Geographic about evidence that man and dinosaurs DID co-exist. So what are you going on about?

Because those TV Shows don't believe in showing us REAL science, they are only interested in brainwashing the public to believe in the religion of evolution. They put their own spin on scientific facts that have nothing to do with evolution. For example, they showed their stupidity the other night when they ran a show on "Multiples". They were describing the development of the early embryo, and they stated that "the embryo has gill slits and a tail, vestiges of our evolutionary past". What a load of crap! That idea was disproven 150 years ago at the University of Jena. Ernest Haeckel was convicted of fraud for his drawings of embryos in which he made the embryos of several animals look exactly the same. There are no "gill slits" on human embryos. The folds in the neck develop into bones in the ear and glands in the throat. They have nothing to do with respiration, nor are they a remnant of a respiratory organ. Nat'l. Geographic really showed their ignorance there. That belief is still printed in textbooks today and should be removed. There are laws that demand that textbooks be accurate and up-to-date. This is about 150 years out of date! They only keep all these disproven falsehoods in textbooks (and on TV) because they don't have any REAL evidence for evolution, but they want to make sure our kids are brainwashed with it anyway, so they will make good little soldiers for the New World Order.

I think you are out of line. Just because we have "faith" does not make us "dumb religious followers".

I happen to watch those programs on a daily basis, and all it does is make me more amazed at the power of God.

Have you seen "In the Womb"? How can a baby be created like that by chance???

I am a born again Christian and love to watch National Geo specials. I also love to watch Nova and Nature on PBS. Sorry, that all Christians don't fit into the mold you've made for us.

no longer all believers think of each and everything is written of their books. so some distance as calling human beings dumb that seems to carry on with the line of attack being utilized by skill of a few interior the evolution circulation. fairly than discussing the subject concerns they could fairly use advert homonym assaults. (To the guy).

There are those of us that are very spiritual/religious that do believe in evolution, the big bang theory and other reasonable, logical things. Your generalization is overreaching to an extreme.

You like the xtians seem to think that xtianity is the only religion. It is most certainly and thankfully is NOT. Change your wording please.
