So many people have different beliefs, but if you truly look at every book, every philosophy, every source of witchcraft, you will see it all stims from the Holy Bible. There are people who take it and use it for personal gain or they use what is enmity with God(witchcraft) and try to hurt those that believe in God.

All those who read those other books, what must you do to be saved and where will you go when you die. As for you who practice all that other stuff, just put spell on yourself and leave it at that. Why put others in harm because of what you beleive. I love people and want to help, so can't we all.

If people really got 72 virgins in heaven, would they all be good-looking? Is there an age bracket? Would getting a 76 yo hag virgin really be that great?

It’s all right to conform to a person’s wishes, if it ultimately benefits you. But only fools follow along with the herd, letting an impersonal entity dictate to you. The key is surely to choose a master wisely instead of being enslaved by the whims of the many.

I am trying to do some research about how other religions see Jesus Christ. Can someone who is Muslim please give me some scriptural references from the Qu'ran about Jesus Christ & any info on how Muslims view him as opposed to how Christians do?

Here's the verse:
22 And the LORD God said, "The man has now become like one of us, knowing good and evil. He must not be allowed to reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat, and live forever."

Two things: Who is God referring two when he says "us"? Are there other Gods running around, like they used to do on Mt. Olympus? This context doesn't make sense for "angels".

Also, why was God afraid that man would become as powerful as him? Smart AND immortal? Is it that easy, I can eat an apple and rival God?

Honestly, this entire verse is very, very similar to the Greek mythology it is probably related to.

I know you reject organized religion and the literature they've produced - and their concept of God - which is easy to do, but could it be possible that something divine (for lack of a better term) is running the show? Something so unimaginable that nobody has ever been able to conceptualize, let alone measure it yet? Or is it simply known natural laws at work, period.

Obviously there are no right or wrong answers here. Just curious about what you think. Thanks.

Honestly, I'm starting to notice a pattern..

Any "rational" person would know that logic could never explain everything in the universe.

Many Athiests often say, "Religion was created by man."

Well, hate to burst anyone's bubble, but so was logic and reasoning.

I'll state this in the most neutral position as possible:

If Religion is faulty because it is made by man, then isn't logic also faulty because it is made by man?

If logic isn't faulty because it is made by man, then it would be perfect. And if it were perfect, that would define "logic" as God. Are you worshipping logic?

Sounds silly, doesn't it?

Science and it's theories and laws have always changed and been questioned, just as man has changed through the generations.

The Bible has remained the same.
And if you think the Bible has changed it's themes, why don't you offer the "proof"?
"Lack of proof" is a main reason for Athiesm.
You never knew Sophocles; you respect his teachings. What about God?

from my previous question about if holyspirit already existed during Jesus time, most of you approved yes he did exist.
http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;...

then the another comforter is someone that is not Yet known by the people:
John 14:16
And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;

this is an evidence that Jesus here is talking about someone different than the holyspirit that many christians have been taught it's. Jesus here is talking about someone new different than the holyspirit, someone that the world still don't know him yet:

look carefuly at this verse, the words of Jesus:
John 16:7
Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.

Satan was cast out of Heaven for believing he was greater than god. But how could that have happened if there is no sin in heaven? Furthermore, all the other angels that fell with satan had sinned as well...?
