If you don't want to speak about religion or spiritual items, go somewhere else and write you commentary. There are also mythology catagories and other for those of you who simply was to respond with silly and stupid comments. I suppose most of you are really searching and just have a poor way of saying it.

If seen questions asking for government abolishment of religion, government ratings on religion. It seems that government would be obstructive to atheists that want to do whatever feels good. And why would an atheist want to be good to his fellow man? I would want to be a gangster, step on anyone I could kill cops, because they are opposing my will which is all I have

He was a devout atheist who openly delcared that there was no heaven, no God, no hell. He had a near death experience that changed all that and he is now a minister in Ohio. I would love to hear your thoughts on this.

Anyone know any prayers TO saint francis. NOT:
O Lord, make me an instrument of Thy Peace!
Where there is hatred, let me sow love;
Where there is injury, pardon;
Where there is discord, harmony;
Where there is doubt, faith;
Where there is despair, hope;
Where there is darkness, light, and
Where there is sorrow, joy.
Oh Divine Master, grant that I may not
so much seek to be consoled as to console;
to be understood as to understand; to be loved
as to love; for it is in giving that we receive;
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned;
and it is in dying that we are born to Eternal Life."

please help me. Thank you!

whenever someone points out some odd thing in the bible (like the slavery, the stoning, the list is large) some brave christian soul who in all other respects swears the bible is the word of god and eternal truth inevitably states 'ah, but that is not to be taken literally'

But how do you know which parts are explicit and true? Do you have a magic decoder ring the rest of us lack?

I'm going to open up a store for extremely religious people, tremendously over-charge them for the items being sold, and not give them a receipt.

Naturally, they will Question the cost and demand proof of Receipt.

Then I will tell them they do not need a Receipt, but what they do need is to have Faith in the cost of the item(s) purchased.

Surely they will be Outraged! But why? They follow the same concept in Church don't they? Except in Church, they need no proof. So why ask for a Receipt from my store? Just have Faith in it.

What I'm saying is: Why believe in the words of mere mortal? Yes, Jesus existed, and yes, it is fine to believe in a God, but why should we believe in everything the Church tells us? It is perfectly fine to Questions; it's only Natural.

If you think that God did not exist, then where did we come from? Who created us? Who created the universe?

If you believe that God does not exist, can you prove it?

say Jesus was living among us today. and it's against the law to communicate or be connected to him as you will go against the law or getting your self in trouble, they may arrest you for this. imagine Jesus living with us today and they look at jesus as a serious criminal or out-law person.
would you still connect yourself to Jesus? and would you deny him like peter did?

With my eyes open, my vision blurs, breathing slows. Sometimes I can hardly see the objects in the room, especially in very dim light. Anybody else experience this? The first time it happened, I freaked out a little. I thought I was going to astral project or something!
