Yes, the Sistine Chapel is Catholic Christian.

The Sistine Chapel takes its name from Pope Sixtus IV (1471-1484) who had the old Cappella Magna restored between 1477 and 1480.

The Conclave for the election of the Pope is held in the Chapel. Pope John Paul II spoke of the Sistine Chapel:

"Precisely here, in this sacred space, the Cardinals gather, awaiting the manifestation of the will of Christ with regard to the person of the Successor of St Peter. And here, in a spirit of obedience to Christ and trusting in his Mother, I accepted the election that sprung from the Conclave, declaring my readiness to serve the Church."

With love in Christ.

Given the fact that Catholicism is Christian, the Sistine Chapel is both Catholic and Christian.

As pointed out above, all Catholics are Christian. The Sistine Chapel is part of the papal residence and is adjacent to the tomb of the Apostle Peter.

Both why must it be one or the other. Last time I looked Roman Catholics were still considered Christians, along with Lutherans, Episcapalians, Anglicans, Methodists, Wesaylians.

This has ALWAYS bothered me , why is it the born again Christians think they are the ONLY christians when the aforementioned church follow Christ as well.
