i believe in god
i am a spiritualist medium who communicates with spirit
these spirit are validated and proven .. through descriptions names dates etc given ..
through these validated spirit i am also able to speak with my spirit guides ..
i have also read and been taught spirit teachings through other spirit guides ...
to have all this validated and proven leaves me no doubt that spirit live on
now ...to the god question
spirit speak of god ... they speak of spirit realms ..the spirit teachings speak of god ...
so if i was to disbelieve there is a god i am disbelieving the spirit teachings and ultimately spirit itself .. which means i am disbelieving myself
so it goes hand in hand for me .. i have proof of spirit who speak of god .. so logically for me anyway .. god exists
this is the best way i can explain it and i accept not many will understand .. but i hope it helps explain why " I " believe in god

The Hubble space telescope and the Cosmic Background Explorer Satellite both point to an expanding universe. That means that there was a point of origin. It's a small leap of faith from the Big Bang to "Let there be Light." It's not hard to believe that God was behind it all. Beyond that, the uniqueness of planet Earth, the diversity of plant and animal design, points to a Designer. I'm not a fan of Intelligent Design. I don't think we need to sneak God in the back door. God needs no defense. He's God, after all. I think any honest, intelligent person can see that not only does God exist, He wants to be involved with His creation.

No matter how big the universe is, the chances of molecules accidentally assembling themselves into a machine that can self-replicate is still more improbable. I like the hypothesis that says that the universe is just big enough to accomodate one possiblity of this sequence, hence only one planet with life in the whole universe will exist. Thats gotta be created for a reason.

Like foot prints in the sand the signs of God's existence is all around us, one need only open their eyes and thier minds to accept the obvious. The role of faith is to give hope to the hopeless, those without a clue as to how to live and conduct themselves with dignity or honor need something to fall back on because they're deceitful in their hearts, weak in their minds and in need of guidance and faith to do what is right.

No & that defeats the purpose of faith. Can you have a life with out faith, in anything? It requires faith to wake up each morning & know the sun will rise. Just because it has happened everyday for millions of years doesn't mean it will be their tomorrow, yet you have faith, based on your "knowledge" of the way our planet & solar system work, that you "believe" the sun will be there in the morining!

What I was trying to make a point of is that you can't live without faith. And that you choose to have faith in something or you don't. Notice the word "May" below in conotates a choice...And the word "wonders" in Psalms...What are Gods wonders...And don't you first have to believe in God, to be able to aknowledge who it was that made those wonders.

John 20:31
But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.

Pslam 78:32
32 In spite of all this, they kept on sinning;
in spite of his wonders, they did not believe.

God CAN NOT exist within you without faith which opens one to the Spirit.

as it says it is a sin to blasphemy the holy spirit, something which can not be forgiven, which means to not allow it into your heart and mind and soul, so of course if you don't open yourself to God thru his Spirit then it CANT work thru you not that it doesn't want to,very simple, really,It ALL has to do and deal with Faith.
I wish you the best on your spiritual journey.

No, you cannot. Proving that God exists is like proving to someone that you exist: no matter what you do, someone can always come up with a simpler explanation for an action (a computer is doing it, the answers are coming at random, trained monkeys are reading flashcards, etc). As with your consciousness, it is one of those things that is either closed to debate (you know that you exist, regardless of what anyone else says), and you believe regardless. or you'll never understand.

Using reason and no theories
Look around at the animals, people, and the rest of nature. How did it get here without a Supreme Being, since we know that macro evolution does not work. And that radioisotopes are unreliable after a certain point of time.

I can prove God in two ways, without using faith.

1) The existence of evil is proof of God.

We all agree that evil exists – in fact we object to things we call evil (war, poverty, Republicans, liberals, whatever). So, what is evil? Not what are examples of evil (rape, murder, etc…) but what makes something evil? What makes something evil is whether it deviates from some idea of objective good. In other words, there has to be some objective standard of good in order to measure whether something is evil. C. S. Lewis said “how can a man call anything crooked unless he has some idea of a straight line?”. If there is no good, how then can we call anything evil? But there doesn’t seem to be any way to account for an objective standard of good unless there is a God. We ourselves cannot serve as that standard. Even the best of us have lied and stolen at sometime in our lives (deviations from good) so we ourselves cannot be used as a standard for good. So, evil is evidence of good; good is evidence of God; therefore evil is evidence of God.

2) It seems to me that if there is no God then there is also no ultimate justice.

Between the years 1990 and 2000 there were 200,000 murders in the U.S. Approximately 100,000 of those are unsolved (this is from the Census Bureau of 2000). That means that there are potentially 100,000 murderers that have never been brought to justice and most likely may never be. That means that they have committed the perfect crime - they have killed another person and gotten away with it. Does it seem reasonable that someone could live out the rest of their life and never pay for such a crime? Think of the outcry when an innocent child is raped and murdered. We demand justice! But what justice is there for the victim whose murderer is never caught? If there is no ultimate justice, then we can do whatever we like in this world and when this life is over, it’s over – there is no penalty. If God does not exist, then there is no true justice.

no I can use science, there's no way, and its been said by many scientist, that we could not have just started from nothing and the solar system, everything is to intelligently designed, everything is arranged to where if we were you some how come out of our orbit..we would be destroyed, but we haven't been for millions of years, and our bodies, people have taken the miracle of our bodies for granted, how everything works together, and how just everything has a purpose on the earth in the earth, this could not just happen by chance, running into a friend in a mall is by chance, but this world and us, is not an accident, and we didn't do anything coming out of the primordial ooze, that he didn't have it arranged that way
