I wouldn't have any particular interest in Jesus, one way or the other. He was just a regular guy. He wouldn't be any different from the other bible thumping zealots shouting from the street corners whom most people ignore.

People seem to be avoiding your question. All the answers are non-answers. People don't understand how to think figuratively.
If I lived at Jesus' time, I honestly do not know what I would do. It would be a tough decision to choose whether to abide by the law, or follow a man that I believe to be the lord incarnate.
This question wasn't asking if you're pagan, or if your Irish, or if you are an atheist. It's asking what you would do if you lived in the time of Jesus or a Jesus like persona. Assume that you trust in God and Jesus and then answer the question properly people.

jesus had some followers (3000 at the heighth of His ministry) but when things got sticky that number dwindled to 150. It wasnt until Pentecost that the church began to grow. And it grew because of the presence of the Holy Spirit, sent as Jesus promised.
Jesus' healings were popular but His attacks on the status quo were unsettling to the masses
Without the blessing of the Holy Spirit, most,no, all people would deny Jesus.

It depends on what kind of personality I had back then. If I was rebellious I would have followed Jesus. If I was a sheep and had no thought of my own, I would have continued in my Jewish ways. I think many Atheists today would have followed Jesus back then, as it would have been the new and rebellious thing to do.

Believe it or not, I've thought about this question before and realized that when Jesus walked on Earth as a man, He was love personified! People were drawn to Him and to what He had to say. He was very charismatic in His behavior and met people where they were, whatever their social status was. I'd like to believe that I would feel that same love and make a choice to follow Him as well!
Thanks for an interesting question - God bless!

Had I lived in Jesus's time, I would have invented gunpowder and electricity and taken over the planet. Jesus would have been a minor obstacle, but if I have a Maxim gun I think I could take him.
Just kidding; that would have made him a martyr. Better to just ignore him entirely and focus on crushing the Roman empire.

I hear the gravity of what your saying. But Jesus says trust in me, I am the way. I have to say I would go with Jesus. Death is gonna happen once on this Earth for me. Then I'm home.

If I lived in Jesus' time, it probably would have been in Ireland, and I would have known nothing about him.
