It seems similar to a dream state wherein the dreamer is conscious but unaware it was operating in dream mode.

Pangel, have you had any encounder with ghost? How are they different from the spirit you are communicating?

ghosts are not dead people ... they are just residual energy , a memory ... that is why they just replay actions over and over
of course people know when they have passed over
but people get confused with ghosts and think they are dead souls stuck here , they arent
i have studied both and seen both ...
spirit communicate , pass messages on , give details about who they are ... they are conscious
ghosts do not interact with people , they do the same things , walk through walls that no longer exist or in the case of the famous roman soldier ghosts ... walk on a footpath 15 inches below the surface

This is what the Bible says about the condition of the dead...
Ecclesiastes 9:5: "For the living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all, neither do they anymore have wages, because the remembrance of them has been forgotten."
Ecclesisates 3: 19 & 20: "For there is an eventuality as respects the sons of mankind and an eventuality as respects the beast, and they have the same eventuality. As the one dies, so the other dies; and they all have but one spirit, so that there is no superiority of the man over the beast, for everything is vanity. 20 All are going to one place. They have all come to be from the dust, and they are all returning to the dust."
so a ghost is not a dead person, but possibly a demon spirit.

They are not human souls but fallen angels that were kicked out of Heaven and there was many as one third of all heaven fell.
God put them on the earth which he also condemned and created hell which is in the center of this earth.
When we die we either go to heaven with Jesus and his brothers ans sisters or for punishment in Hell where all the ex angels are tormented day and night.
Some of these evil spirits have powers not as strong as Satan but strong and they assend above the earth surface from time to time. In recent times they are rising more as the end is sensed and as such activity on earth is increased. As humans follow the ways of Satan which has been from the being with the fall they increasingly join together with his spirit.
The current lie which is being spread around the earth about souls not crossing over is just another one of Satan's delusions to divert human beings to the truth.
This is all written clearly in the bible and for those who are interested in truth the 66 books that make up the word are honored and valued high above Gold.
Don't be caught up in the illusion remember this the same God of Love also made a place called hell to torment souls day and night for ever and ever and ever.....

When you die and do not have the knowledge of the after life, or even a clue as to what an "afterlife" is, it is such a hard core shock on the mind, it rips down all your ties to reality, so some people either build themselves a heaven to go, or even a hell to go to (because it was programmed into their minds that they will be going to such a place), and others just live in their memories.. To excape this you have to realize there is no heaven, there is no hell, there is far more than you could ever imagine......

What makes you think they are dead? Since the Bible says the soul dies with the body and the Spirit of Life we share with all forms of life, then what is a Ghost suppose to be made up of?
The demons have a much greater reason to make you think you are seeing ghost. They can appear as anything they want, taking images from your mind. Christ said they can even appear as an Angel of Light.

According to the Bible, when a person dies they do not return from the grave. Ghosts, or apparitions are from a different source and the Bible describes that source.
Many people don't realize that God is the only one who can bestow immortality upon anyone.
What happens after a person dies ? You owe it to yourself to at least be informed with God's opinion. Read the Bible explanation here ....

because there is no logical reasons why people would stay around after tehy have died if it is possible for them to move on. People made up the idea of ghosts and it didn't really make any sense, so they had to think up reason that they would be here. This is just one of those made up things.

Its fairly common actually.
When people die suddenly, or if they are on drugs - they don't know that they have died. When a soul is forced from a body unexpecedely it happens. These are the most common situations but it can happen in other situations as well. Even if they are sick and know its coming they can be in denial of their death.

There are no cases of "ghosts" at all. The spirits of dead humans are in heaven or in hell, and in both cases they are quite aware that they are dead.

I think that is a really good question but unfortunately we will never know the answer to it. I guess we would have to be dead in order to understand what or they are feeling.
