Almost everyone is agnostic. It seems strange for agnostics to be hated. Although, part of it may be that many people don't know what it means to be agnostic.
Agnostic simply means being without knowledge or observation.
An agnostic atheist is someone who does not know the absence of gods. As such, he simply has no belief in gods. Most children fall into this.
An agnostic theist is someone who does not know the presence of gods, but he believes that at least one god exists. Most Christians fall into this.
Gnostics are a different beast. Gnostic atheists know that there is no god. I respect this viewpoint, though I can't agree with it. I know that some gods don't exist, but I can't dismiss each and every god. Gnostic theists know firsthand that there is a god and often make claims that they interacted with these gods. Most psychotics fall into this.
So, agnostic-haters? Probably only because they don't know what agnostics are. Most everyone is an agnostic.

I am Catholic, and have plenty of friends who are atheists, and also agnostics. There are many agnostics in my area, and most have friends of all different beliefs. I don't see all this hating you're talking about. The fact that someone is unsure of their beliefs is certainly no threat to me, personally.
However, I have heard a few atheists say that agnosticism is intellectually dishonest. They feel that the proof against God is so overwhelming that for an individual to continue "fence-sitting" by claiming to be agnostic is actually worse than being religious. One should choose one side or the other. But most atheists I know don't think like that.

I like Agnostics. They seem more sincere to me, they have serious doubts but many of them at least keep the door open to see if someone can remove those doubts. Atheists though just want to shut the door and yell through it into the other room.
Christians, on the other hand, open every window and door and shout for people to come in and sometimes do not realize that they are not even inside the same house they are calling people into, if you catch my drift.

Your basic premise is flawed. I don't think either group hates agnostics. I mean has there been a big agnostic persecution lately?
Try being a Christian in an Islamic country.

all the different religions and atheists stay in peace and are purely attacked by ability of undesirable christians which reasons all solid christians to melancholy on the wear and tear they do! Up till approximately 40 years back Christianity became thriving and there became no conflict with others yet in purely those few short years the in demand christians are turning out to be illiberal, hate crammed, bigoted and persecuting ensuing in a growing to be backlash against christianity and inflicting christianity to loose over ten % in under a decade with the loss accelerating! The self destruction of Christianity is underway and the only concern that would end it is to desert the unfavourable human thoughts, seek for to rediscover the assumption of a loving god and act like it!

Heck I like agnostics, in fact I think we are all agnostic to one extent or another since no one can truely BE sure what they believe is true. Agnostics have my respect because they're not affraid to admit it. That doesnt mean I dont respect Atheists or Religious folks, I just think its a bad assumption to think you KNOW anything for sure about God

I don't hate agnostics. But they are not trying to help anything. I even respect Bible thumpers, if they genuinely think they are helping people. We all know that when someone says "There is no God" that is their opinion, and they could be wrong. You don't have to preface something with "I may be wrong" by calling yourself agnostic. Just make your best guess based on what you consider evidence and be bold with it. If you find out you're wrong, change your mind.
