Satan was cast out of Heaven for believing he was greater than god. But how could that have happened if there is no sin in heaven? Furthermore, all the other angels that fell with satan had sinned as well...?

Isn't it true that god is "all knowing"? If there were no previous rule of no sin in heaven and then Satan had sinned, wouldn't that have proven god wrong? Isn't God is supposed to be infallible?

People have said in answers, and I was led to believe that Angels did not have free will. Now if this were the case of no free will, how were the angels able to choose to sin.
Angels are not greater than humans. They are merely Gods servants, correct?

Since their removal, there is NO SIN in Heaven. What is your next question?

To my undrstanding that no sin thing has to do with the current condition of heaven as in, "We kicked Satan and all his God-hating cronies out" so therefore there is not longer any. Or if there is I believe the there may have been mention of making a new heaven with the destruction of earth as well... You gotta read but I'm sure its one or the other.

The question does arise for me now, however, about the free will of angels. I thought angels were under Gods absolute control and had no freewill to do a sin. But perhaps that is post Satan as well...
People are a little less than the angels and we have free will so perhaps their free will was indeed taken away after Satan.

Don't hold me to this, I'm not very religous, but I do obsess over angels/demons/sins etc...
There is no sin in heaven BECAUSE everyone there was an angel (at first). But satan thought he was bigger than god, or turned away from god, which at the time wasn't a 'sin' becaue it had never been done. I guess it could be seen as the 'first sin' which spawned all other sins. After all, Pride is meant to be the worst of the Seven Deadly Sins, and satan was too 'Proud' to stand beneath god.
The angels who followed him also commited the sin of pride, and created what could be the second, worshipping a false god.
So, in summery, by turning from god, satan created the first sin, and by obeying him the fallen angels commited it; partially tainting heaven, but cleansing it by leaving to form hell.
I don't know if that made sense, but I hope it helped.

Satan was cast out because he would not take care of man, or knell to him.
Satan wanted to rule mankind. not the other way around.
he would not serve man. when a fallen angle makes a decision, its for ever. when man makes a decision, and has chosen wrong he can still be forgiven. the sin of disobedience and vanity was the fall to those who contradicted god.
there was no sin there or now, only when the act was done. the sin is on the person, or Satan. both are the same. since they are
going against god.

the heaven is like another world out there. in the first place there are three heavens, we are on the first, satan in the next and God in the third heaven. satan thought he was great and that cannot happen. Pride is soemthing untolerable to GOd! so he was kicked out along with 1\3 of angels. these are now the demons we have. the heaven we keep talking about is the sanctuary of god...in the sanctuary there is NO sin!

This is what revelation I received. We all know that when God created the Earth and everything else that it was good. Adam and Eve were good until satan (at the time was still an Angel) came down there and deceived Eve. Serpent means to be unfaithful, treacherous etc. So that is how satan is depicted, as a snake. That is when God cursed satan to the earth and told him he was going to crawl on his belly. So that is when sin entered in and satan became the prince of this world.

I don't know why people have such a hard time with the idea of free choice. satan was perfect until the day sin was found in him. satan chose sin over God. If satan wanted sin, God allowed him to have it - along with its consequences. Just because God is all-knowing doesn't mean He is going to prevent the ability to choose.

Theres no sin but he committed one by not obeying the command given by the ALMIGHTY. The command was to bow to ADAM, which every other angel did. Satan being the leader of the angles did obey this and was thus thrown out.

**How could Satan be cast out of heaven for sinning if there is no sin in heaven? **

The Bible Revelation 12:7
And there was war in heaven. Michael and his angels fought against the dragon, and the dragon and his angels fought back.

The Bible says there was war in heaven , we should not be surprised that there is sin present there in heaven also.

Have a pleasant day.

Satan was one of the most-high angels. He lead worship for all the other angels. But he became pridefull. He told the other angels that he was tired of leading worship and that he wanted to start receiving the worsip. The other angels agreed, and that was the sin that they commited. That is when Jesus cast them out. It was mainly pride that got them kicked out.

It seems to me that you are not reading your bible. Satan was cast out of heaven because he wanted to be God. he wanted to be the boss. he was also jealous of the man God made. When the lord told him that he would have to bow to man, Satan went postal.
