Zephaniah 3:17 (New International Version)
The LORD your God is with you,
he is mighty to save.
He will take great delight in you,
he will quiet you with his love,
he will rejoice over you with singing."
If the Lord is singing over me, what difference does it make what I sound like when I sing.

Matthew 5:17 “Do not think that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them, but rather to fulfill them. I tell you the truth, until Heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of the pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until all things are accomplished. Anyone who breaks one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the Kingdom of Heaven. But whoever keeps the commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called great in the Kingdom of Heaven.”
Rom 1:22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,
Rom 1:23 And changed the glory of the incorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.
Rom 1:24 Wherefore God also gave them up, to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonor their own bodies between themselves:
Rom 1:25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshiped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.
Rom 1:26 For this cause, God gave them up, unto vile affections: for even, their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
Rom 1:27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error which was meet.
Rom 1:28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over, to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient.

I dont have a "favorite" per se but I've always liked Matthew 6:25-28.
25"Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? 26Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?"
I dont know why exactly, it just sort of sums it all up nicely for me. I think no matter what faith you are (or arent), this applies to life in general.

It is in the book of Matthew
It starts of by saying" Come to me all who are weary and weak, and I will give you peace............. I can't remember the rest. Or the correct verse I just know it is in Matthew and that is how it starts off. This is my favorite verse because Jesus is saying that he can heal you, no matter what you did come to him and he can give you rest not anyone else

I love John 3:16.....
Also the verse, "To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord"......... that is so comforting to me....
I know the very minute I take my last breath on earth, I will be in Heaven....

Daniel 2:44,45
It speaks of the time to come when Jehovah God will put an end to all these governments, and he will set up a kingdom that will never be brought to ruin. It will crush and put an end to all these other kingdoms, or governments, and God's kingdom will last for times indefinite.

Psalms 27:4 " One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire in his temple."
