Oh phoenix, oh phoenix. How cute of you to think I am a high schooler. I am actually married and have a kid. Also, I've belonged to several religions in the past... but I know this is the right one. And I am not Wiccan to cast spells on people. I am Wiccan to worship the Goddess for she was the one I was searching for my whole life, even through my 13 years of being a "forced" Christian.

And to Demon: I understand what you are saying, however I suppose my question was asked for the shock value, but not to get myself attention. It was more to see if the "christians" portrayed their honorable christian traits, or rather the ones that would banish me to hell and get all defensive and hate rather than love.

Not much, I used to be Wiccan too, I dont have bad will towards Wiccans if they are really practicing it, just the wannabees who read too much Harry Potter, they dont have a clue and should really grow up.

Wicca is a religion not far off of Buddhism that is very peaceful and respects all life. I know Wiccans do not hate Jesus nor do they worship Satan. The do not believe in harming others or it will come back on them over and over. I cant disrespect anyone who desires peace.

I am a Christian now so Im not going to agree with everything you believe but no one agrees fully with me either, so no biggy :D

You are, as a wiccan, very peaceful, stable, and comfortable with who you are.

You are in tune with, and love nature.

You do not view the male gender as superior to the female gender, especially in marriage, as some religions do. Their is equality, as it is meant to be.

You suspend judgment on the god-concept until there is irrefutable proof that god exists.

I am not wiccan, but have friends which are sincere, and genuine, and care about the welfare of others.

I'm Mayayana Buddhist, and have friends that are Wiccan, and we get along great, and enjoy (as human beings are meant to) the relationship we have with each other.

Take care, and it really is so unfortunate that so many people and religions place such harsh judgement upon you and your religion.
This judgment is based on ignorance, and a lack of a proper understanding of Wiccan.

I say, that's awesome! I studied Wiccan for awhile because it had a bad rap and I wanted to see what it was all about. As expected many people around me freaked out and told me I better not try any seances. I wasn't a Wiccan, I was just interested in learning about it. It entails some interesting beliefs and modes. Just like any other faith/religion it is no better or worse than any others. If people do say that Wiccan is bad, it's often because they have only a minimal knowledge about what Wiccan really is. This makes sense because there is a ton of literature on the subject, but other than that it does not get a lot of attention. People associate Wiccan with black magic and bad things, but it's not that at all. It's just a different form of believing in a supreme being, or in this case multiple supreme being. Good for you, and don't be afraid to state your faith!

I say, I'm a Christian. I have actually been learning a bit more about Wicca lately as I have some close friends that have gone there. In my opinion, it is just like any other of Satan's ploys. Offer up a close counterfeit to the way that God wants us to live. I see a lot of similarities in the way people treat others. Satan is the master deceiver , and to be successful at deception, you have to mix in as much truth as it takes to fool people. Wiccans seem to be very good at loving their neighbor and living at peace with everyone. Those are great qualities. I just hope that you will see that there is more to eternal salvation that just being "good." Jesus still requires you to accept His free gift.

Honestly?
How cute, another high schooler who wants to "fit in" somewhere.

That's just my gut response, not what I really feel about Wiccans.

I'm a Unitarian Universalist, so I'm used to chatting with people of many different faiths and philosophies. To be honest, I would probably say something mundane like "Nice to meet you," "Fascinating," or "Are you--what do they call it?--a solitary practitioner or part of a local coven or circle?" If we came to know each other well enough, I'd eventually get around to asking you about your spiritual journey, how you came to Wicca and how it has changed your life.

What do I say? What DON'T I say!

I say, what do you do, as a Wiccan? How is it different from not being a Wiccan?

I would say that your are searching for power, to be in control with your little spells. However, there is a power stronger, that of Jesus Christ. He can set you free from the snare of the evil forces in this world. I was into witchcraft many years ago. I loved the way people were afraid of me, a real power trip. Christ set me free.

I say as long as you are happy with your choices and do not desire to change, then I guess it's ok - but I still wish you would desire to change. But I won't push my religion on you if you will not push your religion on me. Ok?

I would say "Oh.. kinky".

No, really... I live in Mexico and I haven't met a single wiccan, so can't really say what I will answer.
