No, but Frank Morrison, a British lawyer of the 1930s, investigated the circumstantial evidence surrounding the Gospels (archaeological & manuscriptual evidence), and decided that there was enough evidence to believe that the Gospels were historically accurate. He later worte a book about his conclusins called "Who Moved the Stone?"
