Yes, we should pray to Allah(swt) 5 times a day, but the Quran does not forbid us to offer other prayers to other gods.

I pray to Mohammed Ibn Allah, Buddha, Vishnu, and occasionally Ra the son god and to Zeus. Who are some of your favorites ?

While I respect your opinion, I pray only to YHWH the God of the Bible.

In my humble opinion, the God to refer to is the one who answers most directly, and the answers need not be in words. Answers can be in illumination or in "hunches."

A God taught and fashioned by organized religion of any sort usually carries a heavy bias behind it and does not look at life directly, but instead tries to sway large groups of people into one course of action or another.

When this occurs, some people prosper, some don't. Some people die, some don't. Some people grow and understand others in the world around them with wisdom and compassion, and still others do not.

A God, personally sought out, seen in the world of facts, lending some sort of wisdom before one leaves the planet is a God worth communicating with. Even if that "God" is more like a verb than a noun.

Verb God:
Is love
Is healing
Is wisdom
Is understanding
Is the act of "being" alone
Is in all one sees hears, touches, tastes, and smells
Is forthcoming with answers to hard questions through enlightenment
Is cause and effect, all in one.

Noun God
Is fashioned possessing the emotions of man
Is "Father-like"
Is Vengeful
Is Fashioned in the image of man
Is used to manipulate populations
Is used as an excuse to kill

I prefer a verb God to a noun God for all. It's far more real and dependable.

Thor, I find that he is an excellent God to call on because of his friendly nature towards humans, he is always helpful. Mostly I ask him for strength and protection. I also pray to Odin for wisdom and inspiration, and success in life. I pray to Frey for prosperity and peace. I pray to Freyja for love and guidance. I pray to Idunna for rejuvenation. I pray to Forseti when I need legal help or something pertaining to justice. I pray to Frigga for patience to do housework and to bless my home. I pray to Loki to help me find my missing keys or when I've misplaced a book or my cellphone.

I did not know that Muslims could pray to other Gods besides Allah.

Prayer to Buddha isn't going to get you too far my friend, if you're asking for "stuff". The Buddha was a human being who is called "The Awakened One" and is not some omnipotent being.

The only one who can hear my prayers and has the power to answer them: Jesus Christ.

For there is only one God and one Mediator who can reconcile God and humanity—the man Christ Jesus (1 Timothy 2:5).

ALLAH: ALLAH is the proper name in Arabic for The One and Only God, The Creator and Sustainer of the universe. It is used by the Arab Christians and Jews for the God (Eloh-im in Hebrew; 'Allaha' in Aramaic, the mother tongue of Jesus, pbuh). And in Hinduism God is known as Allah in Rigveda bk2 hym1 v11, Rigveda bk3 hym30 v10, Rigveda bk9 hym67 v30. And there is a separate Upanishad named Alloh Upanishad. The word Allah does not have a plural or gender. Allah does not have any associate or partner, and He does not beget nor was He begotten.

The ONE GOD, of the Jewish nation who was FATHER of JESUS CHRIST. HE reeives all prayers in HIS SON's Name. To become a real Christian, we are told that we must HEAR the WORD in John 6:45, Jesus said, “It is written in the prophets, And they shall all be taught by God. Therefore everyone who has heard and learned from the Father comes to Me.” We are also told so in Romans 10:17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. We are told the we must BELIEVE in Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. We are also told so in Mark 16:16, Jesus said “He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.” and in John 5:24 "Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life. We are told that we must REPENT (or turn from sin) in Luke 13:3 I tell you, no; but unless you repent you will all likewise perish. Also in Acts 17:30 Truly, these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent. We are told to CONFESS CHRIST in Romans 10:9-10 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. We are also told in 1 Timothy 6:12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses. We are to be BAPTIZED according to Acts 2:38 Then Peter said to them, "Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.” and Mark 16:16 He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. We are to CONTINUE to be FAITHFUL UNTIL DEATH according to Revelation 2:10c Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life. We also know that Paul wrote in Romans 14:12 each of us shall give account of himself to God. It is important that we not ignore what is written, change what is written, or add to what is written in the New Testament which is our Christian Guide. Have a great week.
