ok here it is. i need to know peoples honest opinions. my girlfriend was told, and she believed, that the sky was blue because of the oceans reflecting in the sky. i told her she was crazy to believe such a thing. she has told me that everyone she knows either believes that, or has heard that. i never have. has anyone out there ever heard that the sky is blue because of the oceans reflecting in the sky. tell me if you heard that or if you believe that. i need to prove my girlfriend is a dolt

I thought mom was in heaven. She wasn't saved. She was not capable to do this at the end. She had alzhiemers and wouldn't have know what to do. She wore a look of sheer terror when he gave her her last rites. Please help me. Where is her soul? Is she in hell? I am a born again Christian & don't understand.

running for office.

Yesterday, all my brethren backed out of my plan to outlaw religious types from voting... maybe they will have my back with this idea!

This way, Christians and other religious nuts can still vote... but they can only vote for athiests and agnostics!!!

this past 5 months.. i have stepped into the 'dark side' sort to speak. I have done things that I am very ashamed of. I pushed God away, and was very selfish. I wanted to rebel, almost as if I were going through a bad stage in my life. After the new year, I realized I never felt so alone in my life. I discovered that I needed God more then I need air. My dilema is I am feeling so unworthy, and I dont think I can ask for forgivness, I do not believe I deserve. Its Hard bc I do not love myself, therefore it is hard to build a relationship with God alone. I am in a dilema....... i also think I am pregnant. God knows I cannot handle a child. I am young. My parents would disown me. ... I am wondering if God is punishing me? ..... i do not know what to do. I pray every night.
What do you think ?

Now that i have your attention, here goes.

The Intelligent Design argument is basically that the order in the universe suggests an intelligent creator. This implicitly assumes that order is not inherent to matter (which may be true). But order is not (necessarily) inherent to mind, either. So, where does the order of some deities mind come from for he/she/it to be able to design anything? And why could it not be a group of barely competent creators working in commitee? Why could "order" not simply be a form of matter that allows it to survive the force of entropy better, so those are the forms of matter that are left (cosmic darwinism)?

why do people insist that evolution is fact when just a christianity it is based purely on faith? you did not see it happen so why do you just know that it is true? one man came up with the Bible you say so it can't be true... Darwin came up with evolution... i am no expert in math but that is ONE!!! if you want to believe that you evolved from a glob of snot flaoting in the middle of the ocean then fine but don't say it is fact PLEASE... that's all im asking

Atheists - don't laugh. If life can originate on the Earth, why couldn't it have originated elsewhere in the universe, using the same evolutionary theory to drive its progress forward? Now, if a race beat us to the evolutionary punch by a significant amount of time, and then visited the Earth thousands of years ago, isn't it possible the primitive people would perceive their entities at 'gods'?
