The bible says turn the other cheek, do you? I have trouble doing it. Before I became a Christian I used to all the time stick my finger up at rude people and yell abuse at them, and if it is a female that is rude and nasty I would go up to her and push her to the ground hard. Now that I am a Christians it is hard to turn the other cheek. at least I am being honest here, I am not going to bulls**t like so many people do. Yes I have a bad temper but bumping into rude twurps only fuels the fire. If I were not in contact with people I would not be rude It is better to be by yourself than around other people because it temps you to yell and carry on, if you fight with them. I am trying to aviod people like aids, because at least in that way I might learn to forgive and not sin. How do you feel about rude a holes? I think it is a natural reaction to rude people, after all we are not perfect.

... religions have the courtesy to at least hear what islam is about rather than denounce it as eastern rhetoric and mythology that couldn't possibly be true? Are you so unstable in your faith that you believe that hearing about the tennants of another religion would be a sin? What if you are wrong?

she mentally abuses the child from her early teens and the teen develops mental problems and then this adult child turns to drugs to escape her misery then as a young adult this child dies from a drug overdose then isn't the parent responsible for messing up their mind and making them mentally ill and drug dependent then shouldn't God punish the parent and take the child to heaven even though they died in sin.Parents can destroy their children.This mother was depressed.Should the mother be punished and not the child.

I think so. Love is creation. Hate is destruction.
It's easier to destroy than it is to create.
It's takes more to forgive than it does to hate.
Love heals thyself Hate is self destructing.
To anybody disagrees answer this question.
If you hated someone so much you wanted to kill them would you sacrifice the life of a loved one to do so? Of course you wouldn't why because LOVE is more powerful than HATE :)

I hope Christians can help explain and give me their perspective.

I was born Buddhist, so I have limited experience with Christianity, but I have many wonderful Christian friends who share the word with me.

So my question is, how is it that at judgement day (when we die), our afterlives are judged for eternity based on a limitless range of possible starting points at birth.

Examples include:

*A baby girl born in New Delhi and raised as a Hindu
*A Palestinian who knows nothing except his reality, which he believes by blowing himself up and killing others, he is protecting his family, and his homeland
*A crack baby grows to a difficult life, which could include further drug use, theft, and prostitution as a young adult, with no public systems to help this person.

Is it their fault to be handed these cards and be judged by the Christian God. How can this be explained?

Love to hear your opinions on this concept. Thank you for your time in your response! Please share your thoughts!

I ask because I want to see how many give up God because they didnt get what they wanted (As many christians claim is the case concerning ex christians)

almost 1 in every 2 people will suffer from cancer, its very painful disease and brings lots of sadness and despire to the families and friend, almost everyone knows somebody who had cancer. So when will God release the cure? cancer doesn't discriminate

I am a Christian but the Christians I have come across on here are from the devil himself. A lot of them are very rude and it suprises me that some of them think they are going to to Heaven. They sit there are call you names, and still think they are going to Heaven. That is funny. So atheists how do Christians treat you> Are they rude to you? I have better conversations with atheists than I do Christians.Some atheists want to learn and some Christians think that i will say whatever I want because I am saved. If I had a Christian come up to me and say bad stuff to me put it this way the turn the other cheek will be tested big time. Before I became a Christian anybody who was nasty to me I would punch out and they would not do it again. Now I have to learn to turn the other cheek which is painful. So atheists how do you handle rude christians?
