with all these Religions believing in the end of the World, is it fate?

It's up to us. If we don't change our ways- and fast- then yes, the world is going to end. Humankind is doomed if we don't stop pumping toxins into our land, air, water, food, and bodies. But everyone has to stop, as the song goes, "waiting for the world to change" and start doing something to change it. NOW!

Time will last as long as God lets it last, none knows when that will be, not even the Son..
A Day is 1000 Years -- For God
The scale of time seen with God is much longer than that seen with either man or nations. In the case of God, his days are 1000 years long. Two places define this in the Bible:

our environment will be shot.All the h20 will be polluted and the air will be toxic not to mention the green house effect. If man does live another 1000 years it will be on mars or the moon.

well in the bible it says that no one knows the day nor the hour. who knows if man will live for another thousand years.

Yeah, I think so. 5,000 yrs is questionable though. Global warming is taking a huge toll on our prospects of being around 5,000 yrs from now.
