I think that getting past religious superstition is a good start. I find much contentment in reality.

yes and no. I just got a new job yesterday so hopefully things will get better there. I work with bands and am very busy with the whole music thing. Love it, it's a part of me. I started school again and am doing very well and it's fun (will help with the music thing). But.. I have no boyfriend/husband or kids. I am alone for the most part, yea I have friends that's great but I go home to a empty house. Everyone knows me but not really. The thing is I travel and am out all hours, sometime I think that if I did have a family I would not be able to do this. My friends can't, I run out on a moments notice and bands stay with me all the time. It's a double edge sword I have a great life on one side and a lonely one on the other.

I think being born as a bug may have been simpler!
Elusive, this crazy goal we all set for ourselves (even if the hope for it is subconscious).. happiness and joy.. a satifying life..
Here's to wishing it comes along more often, and to more people (including YOU)! :)

If you are seeking perfection in everything and everyone, then NO, but if you live righteously, take things as they come, roll with the punches as hardships come , then you will live a fulfilled life, because Christ promised to be with us till the end of time, and His promise is better than gold.

Love yourself in all entirety, with all your flaws and strengths.
Love the people around you, reach out.
Believe in yourself and in God. Know that everything that is, is for a reason and that you are a Divine child of the Universe.
And last, but not the least, follow your dreams!

Many people would say that you should build yourself a nest egg so you can have a comfortable life but does having ritches bring happines and satisfaction in life. many rich people are not happy, so having riches did not bring them happiness or satisfaction, so what does bring happines and satisfaction?
You Need to Learn About God
To be God’s friend, you need to learn about him. Do your friends know your name and use it? They do. God wants you to know and use his name too. God’s name is Jehovah. (Psalm 83:18; Matthew 6:9) You must also learn what he likes and dislikes. You need to know who his friends are and who his enemies are. It takes time to get to know someone. The Bible says that it is wise to set aside time to learn about Jehovah.-Ephesians 5:15, 16.
God’s friends do what is pleasing to him. Think about your friends. If you treat them badly and do the things that they hate, will they continue to be your friends? Of course not! In the same way, if you want to be God’s friend, you need to do what is pleasing to him.-John 4:24.
Not all religions lead to friendship with God. Jesus, who is God’s closest friend, spoke of two roads. One road is wide and is filled with people. That road leads to destruction. The other road is narrow and has few people traveling on it. That road leads to everlasting life. This means that if you want to have God’s friendship, you must learn the correct way to worship him.-Matthew 7:13, 14.

Know your purpose in life because without purpose, life has no meaning. And a life without meaning is no satisfaction at all.
