I hope Christians can help explain and give me their perspective.
I was born Buddhist, so I have limited experience with Christianity, but I have many wonderful Christian friends who share the word with me.
So my question is, how is it that at judgement day (when we die), our afterlives are judged for eternity based on a limitless range of possible starting points at birth.
Examples include:
*A baby girl born in New Delhi and raised as a Hindu
*A Palestinian who knows nothing except his reality, which he believes by blowing himself up and killing others, he is protecting his family, and his homeland
*A crack baby grows to a difficult life, which could include further drug use, theft, and prostitution as a young adult, with no public systems to help this person.
Is it their fault to be handed these cards and be judged by the Christian God. How can this be explained?
Love to hear your opinions on this concept. Thank you for your time in your response! Please share your thoughts!

These are some great perspectives. Thank you for sharing. This is a very legitimate question by someone who genuinely wants to learn more about Christianity.
My question, is in no way meant to be offensive towards anyone. I just want to understand the concepts of judgement and circumstances with regards to birthplace, birth religion, etc.
And if you feel like this is a worthy question, PLEASE star it so that more people can see the question and I can get a wider range of opinions. I hope we can all learn something by sharing opinions and not just lashing out at each other. Thank you!

At the Great White Throne Judgment, those who have not accepted Him and or have done great evil deeds in their lives will every transgression read out against them.
Those you mentioned - the baby girl born in New Delhi, the Palestinian, and the crack baby - they have a chance of hearing the Word of God and the His Truth more than once in their lives.
If they ask , they will find others ready and willing to share God's message with them at any hour of the day or night.
With the support of those friends - like the Christian friends who talk to you - and God in their lives, they won't make the choices to kill or use drugs or to go into prostitution.
You see, it's all about hearing the messages, listening, & making choices. You either hear the messages of despair and listen to them and make the choices to become a terrorist or drug using prostitute OR you hear the messages of love amd salvation and make the choices to save lives in the Middle East and the choices to keep others off the streets.
This is what we'll be judged on- partially. The other thing we'll be judged on is whether or not we deny Jesus as our Savior.

Don't know much about Christianity either but for a thought I could have might share you some views regarding such question of yours...
We are humans, facts and true, death upon us leave us into the basic outreach into the unknown which is beyond the grasp of our reality. Thereby in it, life is the obstruction. And if you are judged in the afterlife,it is not a choice but just like birth and if you heard them before, it is just the beginning. As far as I know, three doors are offered to us when we are still living which are Heaven, Purgatory and Hell. Of the three, purgatory is known through ghosts, orbs, and other elements that you are aware of.

I think this is a very valid question and I would like to offer an answer. This is what I came up with from the word of God. In the Bible, New King James Version, I found in Ecclesiastes 3:9-11 that God has placed eternity in hearts of man. You see part of the teachings of the Bible is that we were made to love God and to be loved by Him. There is this natural God shaped hole in our hearts, figuritivley speaking and nothing can fill it except Him. So no matter who you are, were you were born or your outward circumstances, it is in you to seek out who the true living God is, and I know that if you are truely seeking Him, you will find Him and come to the same conclusion many people have, Jesus is the only way and the truth and the life. These are not my claims, but rather His. As an example of a rough life of poor circumstances and still loving God no matter the hand they were dealt I would reference you to the book of Job in the Bible and the story the rich man and Lazarus told by Jesus in Luke 16:19. You see we are all given a choice from bith, it's called free will, it what you choose to do with that life that will determine your outcome. You see God loves you and He won't force Himself on you, it is your choice to seek to know or to believe, but I can tell you this, that if you ask God to forgive you of your sins and believe in your heart that Jesus is Lord and that He died for your sin and paid the price of yours and my rebelious sins against God you will be saved. I challenge you to continue to seek answers, and if you would like to e-mail back please feel free to do so.

Only God understands everything we have been through, and why we think, say and do the things we do. So, only He can judge any of us, but personally, I believe He loves every single one of us equally, and that we all will return to Him, because there is no other place to go. Man made up the devil to have someone to blame for the actions he doesn't want to take responsibility for ("the devil made me do it") and religions were just created to give certain people power over others. There is some truth in every religion, but no one religion has all of the truth.

My understanding is that a person not exposed to God's truth will not be condemned to Hell when they die. The return of Christ will expose everyone left on Earth to this Truth and they will make their decision then. Children, the mentally incapacitated and the "unexposed" will be made "whole" when they die and will make their decision then... this good question as gotten some good answers so far. Many great men and women in the Bible led difficult lives yet made their decisions based on their "conscience" and exposure to the Word. God knows our hearts and I hope His decisions are based on this.

me as a Christian i don't beleive anyone is born a Christian...we become a Christian when we accept Jesus into our life as Savior regardless if our parents religious persuation...i think all peoples are giving the chance to believe in God even if they do not know the name as Jesus...(Romans 1:20 (New International Version) 20For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse)...but when giving the choice of to beleive or not it is up to them...as the choice of choosing to do wrong or right is up to them...thus they will be judged on that...(Romans 2:14-16 (New International Version) 14(Indeed, when Gentiles, who do not have the law, do by nature things required by the law, they are a law for themselves, even though they do not have the law, 15since they show that the requirements of the law are written on their hearts, their consciences also bearing witness, and their thoughts now accusing, now even defending them.) 16This will take place on the day when God will judge men's secrets through Jesus Christ, as my gospel declares)...i think a baby girl raised Hindu at one point my question that and seek more they may realize there is but may or may not choose to believe in it...the Palestinian probably has a thought that killing people is wrong but chooses to ignore it...the crack baby will have to make decisions whether to do the right thing or not...all people on the earth have Gods law written on their heart as stated above...it is up to the individual to choose what is right and wrong...so in a way everyone is equal in the ability to make the choice...but some have harder circumstances than others...so i think it is fair...we are a product of our choices only...not our envirenment...beside Jesus did appear to Paul in the New Testament even though he was killing Christians because Paul was a seeker of the truth...i have heard of other accounts where people seeking the truth with their whole heart that Christ appeared to them in dreams and the such...

None of us were thrown in random circumstances. And it was our bad choices or the bad choices of our fathers. It is not Gods fault
2nd we are all made with a conciens that tells us dont do crack dont blow your self up and kill others.
God has a plan he gives us all a destiny . You too. But it is our lousy choices.
God puts us in the exact time and place we were created for .
We have a destiny.

We are judged by our ability to know right from wrong. If our live situation and environment is negative and that is all we know, our conscience and reasoning ability will be so formed by it.
Our all knowing God takes this into consideration. Remember the man on the cross next to Jesus. He as promised heaven not because of his life but because in that moment of grace, he recognized Christ. God gives all a moment of grace. Jesus told us that faith as small as a mustard seed is sufficient.
God judges us in ways we as mortals can not understand.

Lets be scientific. Obtain a pshycologists help to peak into your previous birth and then you will be able to understand that your birth is based on the good and bad youve done. Re-birth is inevitable and theres is no god to take you to haven. Your good deads will give you a place on earth and meditation can take you out of re-birth -iternal freedom - no heaven or hell.
Take the scientific approach of an educated pshycologist.
