It made for a better story. You wouldn't get many converts if the Bible said, "God made everything like he wanted because he is all powerful. The end"

How can we say he is stupid, who are we to judge? He knew/knows God better than we do. He had a reason for defying him. Maybe he holds the key to everything, perhaps that is why he was "demonised". If Satan really knows the truth, it wouldn't make sense now, would it? Answer your own question. He knows that God is a fraud. If Satan was there at the beginning, then he knows the truth. Maybe God isn't who he claims to be and Satan tried to expose him. You know, like Satan actually made us self-aware, gave us liberty and an opportunity to remove the chains of slavery, which is basically what God is demanding.

Satan thinks that he is better than Adam (prides) that's why he refused to follow god's order which is totally wrong.
its as someone telling you that god wants / says these kind of thing but you say it should not be like that i want an other thing

alot of people will burn in fire do u thing they don't have brain ? they do....
in god Justice u can not judge someone if he doesn't have brain like a crazy man or kids
so be sure Satan has a brain and did what he did with his prides and god Will not burn anyone in fire with out reason

Since God didn't give angels free will like man, as they were created simply for the purpose of serving God, the better question is how SATAN COULD go against God?

His point is not to go against God. In fact he well knows that he is even part of Gods plan and also knows that without him, we wouldn't know god from bad (the tactics used against Adam and Eve). He's very right too.

He knows that he personally is lost and will never return, and is miserable because of it. So now, his goal is to take as many of "God's children" away from him as possible. He knows that even if God loses one person to Satan, he's hurting God and that soul, since God would like everyone to return. God knows not everyone will return to him, but it's more important that we are given the choice to return.

Satan is no idiot, he knows exactly where he stands and what he is doing. the bible says (paraphrasing) bring one soul to God and your joy will be great; just imagine how much you joy will be if you bring many. Satan thinks the same thing; except it's how great his joy will be.

For the same reason Darth Vader went against the Rebel Alliance. Every story needs an antagonist. The Bible wouldn't be a true epic unless it had a powerful evil villain to get in the way of the heroes.

It seems that when God created the Angels they did not see Him face to face but where very aware of Him in other ways,Satan was the leader and the most powerful of Angels and commanded an infinite number below him, and after a time began to grow prideful and thought he was as powerful as God,this sin of pride is the sense of your own superior status among others and so led to his downfall.

Satan actually was against Jesus and not God the Father. He was proud of himself and wanted to be in Jesus place in the God Head.

Seems like a smart thing to do to me. If you were a major official in a tyrannical government which slaughtered thousands and inflicted eternal punishment for even the slightest crime, wouldn't you try to bring it down from the inside?
