According to the bible we are living in the last days. This world can't take too much more, before us humans destroy the whole human race. The exact time is not for us to know. We just need to be ready.

This is a good one. Remember, it says, "when do you *think* ..."
Officially, nobody can know the exact time. It will happen when the Lord is good and ready. Frankly, I think God has the exact time in mind and it is also dependent on man's influence. Both are correct.
There is a final 7 year run waiting to happen. My own opinion is that this is going to start sometime in the next few years. I think before 2010. I could be wrong and I probably am. I am at least optimistic that the rapture will hit in my own lifetime. I'm sure that's a wish of many Christians.
Scripture has a curious lean on a 2,000 year church age, which is almost up. Now if it is 2,000 years since the stoning of Stephen, and our calendar is correct, that should land us somewhere around 2034. We do not know for sure if our calendar is exactly correct, or any certainty that it will be exactly 2,000 years. And we have no verse saying 2,000 years. I said, "a curious lean" - it requires a few connections.
If you match the seven churches of Revelation to church history, then you find Philadelphia beginning with the Reformation and ending around 1900, and Laodicia taking over from there. (Laodicia means "rights of the people", and it is lukewarm and apostate).
We have Israel reforming as a nation 1948, for the first time since Nebuchadnezzer of Babylon invaded. And tiny Israel, surrounded by her enemies bent on her destruction, is still there.
An interesting passage in Song of Solomon 2 suggests a springtime rapture. See verse 10, "My beloved spake, and said unto me, Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away." and the verses that follow.
We've been hearing about subcutaneous bio identity chips for some years now. They now have a grain of rice thing they can put under your skin and it uses RFID to electronically identify everybody, and I've heard conspiracy theories of starting to implement this in 2008. That would fulfill the logistics of the famous 666 prophecy, but we have yet to see the Antichrist revealed.
Good question. There's my two cents.

I personally think it will end in 2031 or 2032 or close to that time. I think that those who thought it would end in 2000 were fooled because 2000 was not 2000 years from the time of Christ. Therefore one has to add the 31 or 32 years of His life and no one is exactly sure on that point so no one can be exactly sure when He will return. But that is my guess. And it seems that we are 'winding down rather rapidly.' According to the Bible, the world had a beginning [book of genises] and the world has an ending [book of revelations] I think most people would agree that we are now living in the book of revelations.

It think that the world can end at any time and that only God knows when, all the signs can be here and then just stop it all, or he could just bring it on in a flash. If you want to find out more stuff about the End go to armageddon.org

Here is one of the most holiest prayers in the Catholic Church:
Glory Be to the Father, and to the Son and to the Holy Ghost, as it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be,
world without end. AMEN.
Mercy promises a beautiful day ahead for all.

In 1 billion years when the sun starts to get hotter.
P.S. People have been predicting the end of the world in the name of God since the beginning of the world, so far they've all been wrong.

No one can predict the end of the world. No one knows when it will be, no matter how many guesses people take. Only God Himself knows and it'll end in His time - when He says. We don't know the hour or the day when it will happen. Any predictions are unlikely to come true.
I know I'm prepared for it, though. I know Christ as my Savior, so whenever the Lord says it's time, I'll be ready - :D

It isn't. Societies, religions, even species come and go, but what wiped out the dinosaurs didn't end the world, and look how big they were. Remember where you learned the 'end of the world' idea, and when that was written, and you may come to realize why.
