i'm not asking for opinion or scripture answering why your particular religion is the one true path. my query is more simple than that. presumably "God" is HUGE, is omnipresent so why assume that "God" can only be reached by a singular belief or practice? why must one path be right and all others wrong?

and "because the Bible/Quran/Gita/Whatever says so" is not a sufficient answer.

PS. i realize not all religions have such a strict bias. if your religion/spirituality is accepting of other paths please feel free to answer anyway.

You all have heard the story of Noah building the ark and others laughing because they thought he was nuts right?

Do you know I cannot find that ANYWHERE in the bible? It is mentioned in the Koran but I cannot find it in the bible. Have you guys read it in the bible?

If someone can kindly provide the verses I will greatly appreciate it.

Is it more logical to think that a single cell was formed on earth because the conditions were exactly right? Or is it more logical to think that an entire entity(God) just poofed out of nowhere?

I just can't imagine falling into that line of thinking. It's impossible for me to pick up a bible, read it, and say 'yep, thats absolutely without a doubt the truth of all things'. I've read it and during the process was amazed that people take it as literal word.

Is it a good lesson of morality using parables and allergories? Sure, it does provide good learning instruction. Why people disregard that and start trying to take it word for word as historical fact completely amazes me. Most people don't take it as literal fact because they've become learned and educated enough to see through and past that.

So, back to the question, since I obviously don't believe in the Bible as fact, why do I get so many answers from people that just copy/paste verses like they actually witnessed it themselves, like suddenly I'm going to be like 'oh, I never thought about it like that, Jesus did resurrect because a book said so, wow, thanks'

Are people really this gullible today's time?

Just where in the bible DOES it say that we go to hell if we dont believe in Jesus?
I know about the words, I am the way, the truth and the light, and No one gets to the father but by me" , and I also know what John 3;16 states, But that doesnt really answer my question now does it? WHERE DOES JESUS SAY THAT IF YOU DONT BELIEVE IN ME YOU ARE HELL BOUND?

I've seen so many responses inferring or stating that someone who does not beleive in God (the Christian God in particular) has no reason to have morals, be honest, forgiving, etc. Does that ignorance (meaning not knowing) come from believing your whole life that the ONLY reason to be honest or kind or good is to please God and go to Heaven?

Do Christians really believe that is the only reason anyone would be moral, forgiving, etc?

Is it not logical to think that the universe has always existed and will always exist?

Face it. God has nothing. He doesn't have fact, he doesn't have science, he doesn't even have logic on his side. The bible is a fairytale.

scientist at harvard and princeton have been studying the realm of the quantum world and have determined through quantum mechanics it is controlled through the very act of observing " dual slit experiment " atoms act like particles instead of waves just by observing them in a conscience way, also quantum entanglement proves how everybody and everything is connected to one thing or source, this is when they started the Global Consciousness Project and showed results without a doubt that the very act of being conscious can have an impact on society through either negative energy or positive energy of the consciousness as a whole, please check the following links before posting an answer. i
