It is the teaching of both the Catholic and Eastern Orthodox Churches that Mary was ever-virgin and never had other children. The Bible never states that Mary had other children, and no person other than Jesus is identified as being her child. According to the Eastern Orthodox, Joseph was a widower with children from a previous marriage, and this is found in early Christian writings such as the History of Joseph the Carpenter, the Protoevangelium of James, and the Panarion. The Catholic Church takes no position on whether the "brothers and sisters" are Joseph's children from a previous marriage or whether they are actually cousins.

Maybe you did not mean to, but you opened a can of worms here. Protestants say Jesus had a brother named James. Catholics say Jesus and James were cousins. Not sure what Orthodox say.

:
Matt 12:46-50
While he yet talked to the people, behold, his mother and his brethren stood without, desiring to speak with him.

47 Then one said unto him, Behold, thy mother and thy brethren stand without, desiring to speak with thee.

48 But he answered and said unto him that told him, Who is my mother? and who are my brethren?

49 And he stretched forth his hand toward his disciples, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren!

50 For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.

Read the last verse and you will see He was speaking of actual brothers before you twist the word brethren.

Mary and Joseph had children after Jesus was born. His brother became an Apostle and died a horrific death - thrown from the top of the Temple then, when he did not immediately die, stoned to death.
