You will hear that God is the "uncaused causer". That's SUCH a cop-out.

Obviously nothing made God come into existence, for if something/someone else were responsible for His existence, then that entity, not God, would be the Supreme Being. But wait! Then you would have to ask what brought that being into existence ... ad infinitum, and you would be faced with the logical impossibility of a series that had no beginning. Logically, in any series of causes and effects, there must be an initial cause. Otherwise the series could not exist. God is the initial cause of all the causes and effects that represent the totality of matter, energy, time and space. Therefore He must exist outside of matter, energy, time and space. Therefore He must be eternal. Therefore He must be the uncaused cause.

nothing made him come into existence the bible says that God always was and always would be as far as man is concerned our minds are not capable of understanding the true reasons for Gods existence hell we only use like 20% of our brain or some thing how can we truly come to grips with the reasons of Gods existence, but if you would like worship God and be faithful and when you reach heaven ask God and he will enlighten you to the reasons of his existence

It's not proper to think that God "came into existence". If we believe in the God that is presented in the Bible, he did not/could not come into existence. He ALWAYS was.
This is difficult to understand and impossible to explain. But when I was flirting with this thought some years ago, it quite clearly occured to me that - If one could find out or explain the existence of God, then at that very moment, he ceases to be God. So it is not a problem for me, that I cannot explain God's existence or any number of other things about him. Instead, it reinforces my acceptance of and belief in him. If you could find out or explain the beginning of God ... think about ... then he's not God any more; he's just like you and me.

All gods were invented, providing a spiritual answer to something man could not understand.

When we did not understand the sun, we had sun gods.

When we did not understand the sea, we had sea gods.

While we do not understand existence, we have creator gods.

No one really knows. Maybe I could tell you if I lived in 1450 B.C. but...well it's the year 2007 A.D. and no one knows the answer to that. Ask God when you die.
