Then another angel, a third one, followed them, saying with a loud voice, "If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives a mark on his forehead or on his hand. He also will drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is mixed in full strength in the cup of His anger; and he will be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb."And the smoke of their torment goes up forever and ever; they have no rest day and night, those who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name.
Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field:
25 But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.
enemy Luke 10:19, 1st Peter 5:8
26 But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also.
27 So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares?
28 He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up?
29 But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them.
30 Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn
The Understanding of the parable
36 Then Jesus sent the multitude away, and went into the
house: and his disciples came unto him, saying, Declare
unto us the parable of the tares of the field.
37 He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good
seed is the Son of man;
38 The field is the world; the good seed are the children
of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one;
39 The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the
end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.
40 As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire;
so shall it be in the end of this world.
41 The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall
gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which
do iniquity;
42 And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be
wailing and gnashing of teeth.
43 Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom
of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.
Keep seeking; and God will take all doubt away.

Broken record here- Sodom and Gomorrah (and Admah and Zeboiim, and Zoar which was spared at Lot's request) were NOT being punished for homosexuality. See Deuteronomy 29:23 and Ezekiel 16:48. Also read Genesis 14 for some background info on these cities. They were completely, mercifully instantaneously incinerated. Lot's wife *went* back and was turned into a *memorial* of salt. This memorial lasts today. I have seen the video of desert gazelle licking up the salt of the dead, who were so thoroughly burned all that is left is their minerals. Since Satan will be thrown into the lake of fire and eternally tormented, I'm not seeing how he's going to be tormenting anyone in "Hell" (Hades, Sheol), which is *emptied* then thrown into the lake of fire along with death. "This is the second death," Revelation 20:14. Yahshuah *will* be the judge at the Judgment. How in the world is He going to judge against babies? That makes no sense at all. Bless up. Edited to add: Do JW's preach Hell? I knew some JW's a few years ago and they agreed with me that there is no scriptural proof of eternal torment.

A person may go to Heaven if all of the below are true:
BELIEVE
Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved, and thy house...Acts 16:31
REPENT
God commands all people to every where to repent...Acts 17:30, 31
CALL ON THE LORD
For whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved...Acts 10:13
CONFESS JESUS PUBLICLY
If thou shalt confess with thy mouth Jesus as Lord, and shalt believe in thy heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved...Romans 10:9
So you see even if there isn't a verse in the bible that states if you don't believe in Jesus you will go to Hell, (which I am hastily trying to find because I have read it myself) you can't just say you believe in God to be saved anyway. Through out the bible as one reads it, you will find that Jesus was the ultimate lamb (sacrifice) for man's sins. His purpose was that alone. How can you enter Heaven without believing he died for you.
In the mean time read Psalm 86:13, Isaiah 14, Matthew 8:12; 25:41, Romans 1:18-20, 2 Peter 2:4-9, Jude 1 and Revelation 21:8. Although they may not exactly say what your looking for...read between the lines.
"IT IS BETTER TO LIVE AS THOUGH THERE IS A GOD, THAN NOT AND FIND OUT ONE DAY THAT THERE IS"

It's fun to see the insanity in others that believe that, thats why I come in here. It's the same reaction I get when turning on Jerry Springer and thinking 'wow, those people are nuts.'
Entertainment.
You and I both know all these mumbjo jumbo about hell and Jesus is just another mythological tale that currently is mainstream because something has to be.....
it will pass, and some of these fundamentalists that wake up will only remember what they typed in here in suppressed memories awakened in therapy.

Well, it's interesting that hell isn't mentioned once in the New Testament. And, as you can see, even the christians don't know their own bible.
Here's one that applies though:
1 Thessalonians Chapter 1
This is evidence of the righteous judgment of God, that you may be made worthy of the kingdom of God, for which you are suffering-- 6 since indeed God deems it just to repay with affliction those who afflict you, 7 and to grant rest with us to you who are afflicted, when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with his mighty angels in flaming fire, 8 inflicting vengeance upon those who do not know God and upon those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus. 9 They shall suffer the punishment of eternal destruction and exclusion from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of his might, 10 when he comes on that day to be glorified in his saints, and to be marveled at in all who have believed, because our testimony to you was believed.

These are the words of Jesus.
Mat 25:44-46 Then they Will reply, "Lord, when did we ever see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and not help you? And he Will answer, "I assure you, when you refused to help the least of these my brothers and sisters, you were refusing to help me." And they will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous will go into eternal life.

I believe in Jesus. That is to say, I believe he existed. As far as the rest of the BS, no. Besides, the way the bible thumpers are always preaching about pre marital sex being evil, drinking being evil, the odd puff of mary-jane being evil, I am assuming there will be none of that in this heaven they believe in so, I will pass.

well 1st let me say what hell is .not to b mistaken for the lake of fire they are clearly 2 different things . hell is a place that your soul is turned over to till your day of judgment.
their is a man in the bible that is having sex with his mother in law they kick him out of the church . then he stops doing that sin so they let him back in. but it is said if you don't turn from your sin that you will be turned over to the devil till you day of judgment that is hell.now it dose say that the only way to heaven is through Jesus ROM. 10:13. if he knows you not you will not get in .so if the world is burned up and all the works in it then well i guess if you don't know him you will burn

It has to be through Jesus so if you don't believe in him, you go to hell. The bible says on Judgement Day, if you didn't accept Jesus, God will turn his back and Say I never knew you and throw you into the lake of fire.

Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, PREPARED FOR THE DEVIL AND HIS ANGELS. (Matthew 25:41)
Men go to hell because they choose the devil's way and reject the Lord Jesus. God is holy and will not allow any sin in His kingdom. As a result, when people die in their sins they are forever banished from the presence of God to a place called hell--and it ain't pretty. Incidentally, Satan won't be ruling in the lake of fire. He'll be screamin' and hollerin' just like everybody else--
the devil...shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever. (Revelation 20:10)
