Why does every ethnic group feel superior to one another? Im guessing pride, greed, different beliefs and in many cases divine authority! Its like saying why do humans believe they are superior to other organism?

Its not that they 'feel' superior... Its that the Bible teaches them not to be unequally yoked (linked) with unbelievers. It causes problems in the relationship later when one wants to go to church and take the kids to church and the other does not. If you think they 'feel' superior... perhaps the problem is YOU...not them...and you 'feel' inferior.... Put the shoe on the other foot. Why do you feel that way? Living a lifestyle that does not measure up to that of your Christian friends? Raise your standards.... get to know Jesus in the bible...read it! Try St. John. and Romans too... then ask the Christians about why they feel so confident. You might be suprised at the answers.

They don't. The reason they sometimes only date other Christians is because they know they may be tempted to do things that are not of Christ. I used to date non-Christians and found that I was tempted to put them first and go too far. That is me recognising my weakness and evil heart. I am now married to a Christian and we have a slightly easier time doing what is right because we put God first and we are both starting from the same place. Hope this helps.

Well, I'm not a christian, but having studied their bible, it does say that they should not "be unequally yoked together with non-believers, for how can two walk together except they be agreed?"
so, this translates to have only christian friends and only christian sspouses/boyfriends/girlfriends.
This isn't necessarily making them feel superior. The "superiority" complex comes from the "I'm going to heaven and you're not" philosophy.

The dating thing is because it is hard to date someone and think of marrying them and they don't have the same beliefs. It just causes a lot of problem. As for friends, I have friends form different beliefs. I do have christian friends though because it is great to have a friend that you can talk about the lord with and rejoice about all the blessings he has gave us.

Not superior.
We only date Christians to avoid getting deeply involved with others and having a troubled marriage.
I have more non Christian, than Christian friends--by far.

You know, I really dislike generalizations. It is not specifically Christians who exhibit this behavior, it is all of humanity. Sure, some are that way but then some "white" people feel that way about their race (so do some people of all other races & cultures), Not all Christians are close-minded. It only seems like that sometimes because they are the most obnoxious about it!

I don't feel superior in any way. It is human nature to gravitate to what is familiar, regardless of your belief in faith.
How many Christian friends do YOU have? Next time you're lonely, why don't you pull yourself up to a park and go make friends with a bunch of picnicking Christians, since you yourself are so diverse.
My guess is...it'll never happen.

Nice question, coming from someone who calls the Bible "A PILE OF GARBAGE" Why would a Christian want to waste time with someone who hates their religion while promoting their own? Silly rabbit!

Because Muslimes will try to convert the kids to Islam.
From a Christian perspective, it's Muslimes who have a false sense of superiority. You can tell it's false because they behave more consistently with people who have an inferiority complex.
Oh the irony of the Muslim mind...
Also, Muslimes are COMMANDED by their Koran "don't make friends with a Jew or Christian".
Koran [5.51]
O you who believe! do not take the Jews and the Christians for friends; they are friends of each other; and whoever amongst you takes them for a friend, then surely he is one of them; surely Allah does not guide the unjust people.
The funny part is that Muslime MEN are allowed to marry a Jewish or Christian woman, but Muslime WOMEN are NOT allowed to marry Jewish or Christian men.
In other words, you can marry them but not make friends with them. Sounds like a control issue to me. The more I learn about Islam, the more I realize that it is not the "one true religion" all the Musilms keep claiming it to be. Would God tell people that they should not make friends with a Jew or Christian? HMMM. I bet a bitter man who was rejected by them might make a rule like that.
We all know who that man is. He took a 6 year old girl as a wife and used extortion (jizya) to "encourage" people to convert to HIS RELIGION by their own "free will"!
Thank GOD I'm not Muslime. Mohammad was a false prophet.
Amen
