According to Papias who lived circa. 110-140 CE said Judas walked about in this world a sad example of impiety. His body was swollen. His body crushed by a chariot so that his bowels gushed out. Another translation, the Roberts-Donaldson says Judas was crushed to death by a chariot rather than hanging or accidently falling to his death. In the Bible, Acts 1:18 says Judas purchased a field and fell in headfirst onto the field where "all his bowels gushed out!" YET, Matthew 27:4 states Judas repented his betrayal in a different way. So, which way do you feel Judas died?
Do you believe he repented? OR, is it no one seems to really know?

I have very intense dreams of a spiritual nature, I do know I overcome many things spiritually through some of them. However others are just meant to disturb my rest and are not for the purpose of spiritual growth. Someone told me to place a Bible under my pillow, but I've found no help there to present date.

Can you give me tips on God centered ways to not have the ones which are meant to disturb my sleep, and not happen to help me through some spiritual delima in my life?

Please give some specific verses for this? Is the concept of the fasting in the Bible the same as what they do today by giving up something for Lent, not eating meat on Fridays, etc? Or is it truly fasting (abstaining from food, water, desires, etc.).

Thanks!

I do Yoga, simply the streches & poses to help with my back problems. Can anyone tell me how the Bible might be opposed to my doing so? A Christian friend told me that it is wrong to practice Yoga if you are a follower of God's Word. I can see nothing in the Bible which says doing stretches or postures to actually help your body like a chiroprator does is wrong. I am not like meditating on another god when I do them, just using them as excercise and to relax my body.

Sounds pretty messed up to me. People wearing a reminder of how he was nailed and killed. Wouldn't it make more sense to wear the fish?

God must have known what humans were capable of when He created the heavens & earth etc.
Of course there are many wonderful things, but does this justify the creation of life when there are so many horrible, horrible things such as the abduction, murder, and/or rape of a child.

Even if everything balances out or there is much more good in the world that justifies the evil, still, to create a world when you knew such things could (and would) happen does not make sense (regardless of free will).

I saw a video of a parade of Afgani Shiite Muslims who walking down the street in the thousands hitting each other over the head with razor sharp swords until they starting bleeding profusely.

There were even some mothers doing the same to their infants (some babies even died of blood loss and the mothers did not seem to care). Is this a cultural abberation or is there something in the Quran that might be misinterpreted to encourage this?

Note: I'm not going to show the video because it is too glory. You can check it out on Liveleak.com

I am a Muslim women, and I cover my hair with a scarf. The other day at work, a lady complimented my scarf, and said that her sister had bought her one just like it to wear when she goes to the cathedrals in Europe. Is it true that women cover their hair when they enter the old Christian cathedrals? If so, why then, and not in "regular" churches?

No, don't take it seriously, it's supposed to be funny. each day we'll have a matchup, and u yahoo answerer people will vote and decide the winner, who shall advance to the next round so we can determine the ULTIMATE DEITY OF THE UNIVERSE.

Your competitors:
From Zoroastriianism--AHURA MAZDA
From our three monotheistics, the one, the only...GOD
THE NORSE PANTHEON
THE GREEK PANTHEON
THE EGYPTIAN PANTHEON
THE MAYAN PANTHEON
THE CHINESE PANTHEON
and finally, for those that remember, JIM_DARWIN of jim_darwinism

RULES:
none of these stupid well-he's-the-only-god-that-exists copouts. let's pretend all these people got thrown into some weird universe and duked it out. and yes, probably god will win because the polls will get stormed by christains, but at least u'll all have obeyed the rules.

For those that don't know, jim_darwinism is atheism acting like a religion. jim_darwin is god/prophet/founder.
Now good luck to all the candiates, and in 15 min. we'll have some GODWARS!
