I don't know who evangelists are. I am evangelical, but i can give you some points. (although i am greek, so i am sorry if i am missaunderstandable.)
The theory of darwin has no relation with what "teachers" call evolution. Today's theory evolution talks about total change of the initial type of species. This is something that only really crazy people can believe in my opinion. Here is why:
It is impossible for an animal to be the evolution of a plant, (if plant existed before the animals)
E.Coli is the bacteria we know best. If you check the mechanisms you will see that the part that makes it move is an engineering miracle, as it has a rotating mechanism that can achieve 3000rpm's and can stop in a matter of half a turn. Every part of this mechanism is not found to any other related bacteria. The chances for E. coli to be an evolution form of an other bacteria are incredibly close to zero.
There is no proof that shows that there was life 1 million years ago! this is stupid, as we cannot use C14 as it "works?" only for several thousand years and other methods for making chronologies are not trustful.
If you think that you are a product of evolution, then you have one parent in common with rats. This means that you have the same rights. This means that if you don't accept medicine trials on human you should not accept trials on animals so you shall never recieve medical care. Otherwise is just like you use your own "tribe" to be healthier by killing it.
There is a basic wrong on "scientific" aproaches to such things as the creation of the word big bang etc. people start to make theories without having enough information. even worse they take God out of the equalisation. so please answer me at last
who needs more faith, me who believes that God created the world, the nature and the man, or you who believes that everything is based on an accident and that there was nothing that suddenly became something with huge energy (already you have violated sever laws of nature) and then at a small planet some lightings took place and then one bacteria took life and then through "EVOLUTION" you can have diferrent type of living organisms?
something very important is that "evolution" does not support different races. if evolution exists then there would not be different kind of flowers, bees, human, donkeys, horses and elefants. There would be only one of each kind. there would not be two kind of camels for example.

There is very little proof against the theory of evolution.
I am a Christian but I don't think i can call myself evangelist. I didn't realize that being an evangelist meant that you have to believe that the world is 10,000 yrs old or less. But when you do some research that seems to be the case.
The major problem in evolution is getting to mankind as we know it. There are some major gaps that they have not found concering the development of the brain and such.
That is why there is so many scientist questioning evolution today. But it certainly seems the case that evolution does occur. And that in fact the world is millions if not billions of years old.

The lack of transitional forms; the fact their is no transtional forms, the fact that the universe is finite, and had a beginning; the fact that radomness could not cause the fine tuning of the universe because again its finite, the fact that life would have had to risen from death; the plant evolution seems to be far fetched, not enough closely related plants. The fact that their is no reason, behind the process of evolution. The fact their is order throughout the entire univerese. Why isn't their any animal that exist that is awkward in nature, or totally different? Like 4 eyes on his legs or something weird. Why did the monkeys survive yet, all other mid-forms get taken out by war? The fact that DNA is coding and requires an intelligent design. The fact that Madagascar can not be understood by evolutionist. I would continue but you get the pt. The bible is the real reason I can never believe such a fallacy.
This distinctive biodiversity is a result of Madagascar's geographic isolation. Geologists believe that 165 million years ago Madagascar was connected to Africa, but began to drift away from the continent sometime during the next 15 million years. Paleontologists exploring Madagascar's Mesozoic era deposits have found the bones of dinosaurs, early birds and mammals. However, most of the groups of mammals and other terrestrial fauna that are well represented on Madagascar today had not evolved when Madagascar first split from continental Africa.
It is believed that the ancestors of these animals (including at least one species of primitive primates) arrived on this great island after having crossed large expanses of ocean by rafting on floating logs or matted vegetation. The subsequent adaptive radiation of these taxonomic groups is what makes Madagascar so special. The animal and plant life of this great island is largely the result of a natural experiment in evolution on a land apart, but very much “like our own.”

Approximately 80% of all Christians belong to denominations that accept the Theory of Evolution. Creation (ie: Intelligent Design) and Evolution are completely compatible. At least READ the Theory of Evolution (and the Bible) before posting such nonsense.

The chances of this world and human beings being created in a big explosion are the same as an explosion in a scrap yard building a fighter jet. In other words, zip.
But, since it's easier to believe that there isn't a God and therefore no accountability in your actions, you can make yourself believe anything.
All you have to do is look at the perfection of creation and know that there is no way it happened through a "Big Bang" with no Creator.
But, you can't argue with people that refuse to see the truth. But the earths axis, the distance from the sun, the full range of plants, animals and the individuality of humans, the mountains, the valleys, the seas...the proof is all around but most would rather believe a lie so they can live like they want to live and never fear paying for their actions.
My proof is in my personal relationship with Jesus Christ and the only way to get that proof is to believe and repent and build a relationship with the One that gave His life for you.

Most just say, well, it's a theory, and we have God on our side. No need for science when you have belief.
But really, I don't understand why young-Earthers feel so much more thrilled about the idea of a 6000-year old Earth than an old one. How does it help their faith and sense of God to think that the Earth was created a geological instant ago? Not that all people who believe in creation believe in a young Earth.
I don't know how the Earth came into existence, but I don't need some half-baked theory from a few hundred years ago based on faulty math and crackpot geneology to make God seem more powerful and noble. The Earth is old. Really old. How would God be more powerful if it were young?
Why is it so important to believe that version of creation? That's what I wanna know.

What about the lack of reproducable evidence? Bones of animals doesn't prove anything. In fact the lack of bones of a "cross-species" animal would be nice. None of these have ever been found.
But as for proof, there is always the mathematical impossibility for evolution. It's simple statistics. For the theory of having chemicals come together and form some sort of life (which they have not been able to do in a labratory under ideal conditions) it is calculated that there is 1 chance in 10^10123. That is 1 with 10,123 0's after it.

It takes far less faith to believe in God than it does to believe in evolution. It makes me wonder what grade the biologists and the archeologists who believe in evolution got in math...

They have none, of course. They will say that they have the word of God, but that is a faith statement and has nothing at all to do with proving or disproving anything. Personally, I sort of wonder why evolution couldn't be God's amazing method of creating the extraordinary diversity of life that exists on this planet. There is no conflict between evolution and God; only between evolution and the primitive creation mythology of the bible.

It's tough to disprove a thing. On the other hand there is no proof that any species of plant or animal or microbe ever evolved into a different species. Thus evolution remains an unproven theory.

Nothing. They can't even manage to discuss any theories of evolution that have actual scientific acceptance. Instead, they throw out flimsy misinterpretations and knock them down. I suppose you could say that their version is a theory of evolution. But that's being really generous.
