this is just to clarify the last question, i talk with my dad praise my dad, and love my dad, and it isn't religious, so why if you do these things to God is it called religion?

know that they should be given an answere, and my ans, to this person is speaking Religion or Religion, is nothing wrong but like
Politic Those are two things that you will have to be careful who you speak with about those 2 things because some people are real gone stupid they only think and looks one way, and those are
the followers. What ever they are told they does not have to think
because followers do not have to think because there leader do the thinking for them. So nothing is bad about talking about Rellig-
ion or Politic all you have to do is to respect other people's religion and moves on. I am very religious but I do not belong to a
Religion because of the same thing because one Million people
read the same page and the one Million people give you one Million defrent interruptions what can I tell you just think things true
for your self, and try to DO UNTO OTHERS AS YOU WOULD LIKE THEM TO DO TO, OR FOR YOU. that's do good to others and move on in life OK?

People who don't know anything about a consistent life with Christ (because of unbelief) are the ones who call a relationship with God religion. They don't understand that prayer is the way in which we communicate with Him, that church is a way of being inspired by Him, that talking about Him is a way of honoring Him. They call us fanatics and freaks yet these are the same people who paint their faces and go half naked in the winter at a foot ball game! These are the same people who buy Enquirer magazines and have virtual shrines built in their homes for the celebrity they love. And how much "booty" has to shake before a screaming crowd before they notice "Hey, it's nothing new booties have shaked before!" If you look at all those things that people do to emphasize their love for people, places, and things and measure it up against those who hold the eternal life giving-ever loving God of all creation in the highest regard you have to wonder who the real fanatic or freak really is!! But if I read your question correctly you are right. The true believer is living out a life in which he or she is in a relationship with The Father. It includes EVERYTHING that a close human relationship has and more!

You have a relationship with your dad, just as you have a relationship with Father God. Religion is a man term. Jesus had a real problem with the "religious" ones of that time. Have a relationship with Jesus and leave religion to the other religions.

Because there's a lot of different ways to serve God. And not everybody serves God. Some serve Allah, Buddah, or whatever. Besides, a relationship with your dad is a little bit different from that with God. God you should love much more and praise him much more and talk to him much more.

God isn't a person and does not need praise but it makes us feel better to invent a God like us with human emotions so we can do things that we think a God might like and let us join the afterlife club.

Religion is simply a belief system. Therefore, you believe in your father and you are devoted to him. So, your relationship with your father could be regarded as a belief in your love for and devotion to him.

God created us to worship Him. When you worship, praise and love God you are having a relationship with Him. The word religion means to worship God!

It isn't. It is a relationship with God that is most important. We as a people have broken it down into specific religions by our belife system being different from others but the most important thing is the relationship with God

Religion is much more than the relationship with God. It is the practice of learning to worship, learning to grow in your faith, learning more about the Bible, engaging in corporate worship as well as personal worship. It is keeping a moral code found in the Bible and learning to keep it better and better. It is growing from glory to glory with the Spirit of Jesus inside you.
Jesus had a problem with those who kept religious practices without the relationship with God. Not religion itself.
