I could post five reasons i love Jesus, but i would rather do something i rarely do, and point something out about the two similar questions this user posted. In this question, all the religious folk posted their lovey dovey reasons, were happy and made themselves feel GREAT for professing their love of Jesus and God. BUT VERY FEW PEOPLE WROTE AND COMPLINED THAT THEIR IS NO GOD AND THEY WERE STUPID FOR BELIEVING IN SOMETHING YOU CAN'T PROVE AND ETC ETC... whereas in the 5 reasons to HATE god question all the religious nuts posted their why inner peace is an idiot comments and felt equally full of themselves and great for having defended God. Why is that? I believe it is because people are psychos.

1.he was pretty.
2.he had some killer abs
3.his hygeinie was stellar. i mean, he was ALL about the foot fetish and having em washed and rubbed...
4.he hooked up with a whore. THAT is some cool stuff.
5.he was the ultimate masochist. He took all that pain, when he could have EASILY avoided it. Being the all knowing being he was, he knew this is how the world would turn out, so he knew he didn't NEED to bother and that most of us would end up in hell anyways... so he wanted to be BROUGHT TO THE PAIN! YEAH! I love Jesus!

1. I don't really understand his love, and I find it difficult to believe in but I believe he accepts me just as I am.
2. His answer to the question of what makes us righteous: Love God with all your heart and soul and mind, and love your neighbor as yourself. To the point but rich with meaning.
3. His acceptance of all our sins. What a crushing experience that must have been. We all know what guilt feels like, but what must the guilt of all sinners feel like? It's unimaginable.
4. He claimed us as his brothers and sisters, said we had a family relationship with him. That we are children of God. What a profound difference from the master/servant imagery that many religions (including later Christianity) foster.
5. He spent his life among "the least of these", people for whom his society had no use. He loved them and considered them worthy of redemption.

Okay, and here let me say that while I love God and worship Him through the Trinity, I'm not crazy about the church itself. We've allowed ourselves to become as judgemental and unloving as those who hate us. I wish we would learn to love both our own fellowship and those who can't fellowship with us for whatever reason. Raging at the unbeliever is not what Jesus called us to do. I'm guilty as anyone of anger when I see the savage remarks on this board against Christians but Jesus enjoined me to bear the Word and go in peace. Sorry if I offended any of you. Rant over.

SEE Ezekial 36: 26,27

I love Jesus because:

1) He is real and alive, and I found this out when I sincerely
asked Him to forgive my sin.
SEE Old Testament- Ezekial 36: vs 26, 27

2) because He miraculously changed the life of my DRUG
ADDICTED AND GAY brother who prayed to give up the drugs
and unexpectadly gave up both drugs and the lifestyle. A real
miracle as he now has total peace.

3) because He really died on the cross for the sin of the world
and HE exposed this to me a solid truth. Who could imagine
having all that most horrible sin placed on one man as the final
lamb / goat and last sacrifice for sin?

4) because I trust Him more than anyone else as He is my
friend and has given me eternal life

5) He accepted me to be a part of His fold when I
became born again by really seeking and asking and receiving
His forgiveness, just as God did in the old testament days
when they sacrifced a lamb. Ez 36: 26.27

Although I can think of two off the top of my head at the moment, one very important reason, referring to my first answer is better than five small reasons.

#1 Because he loves me
#2 I've never had a prayer unanswered
