If you read the bible, there is a part that states "For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and in various places there will be famines and earthquakes"

Do you believe that the war that is going on right now, is the start of WW3?
And do you believe that the prophecy is being met?

This is an official statement from the director of Public Employees for Environmental Responsibility (PEER), Jeff Ruch.

"In order to avoid offending religious fundamentalists, our National Park Service is under orders to suspend its belief in geology. It is disconcerting that the official position of a national park as to the geologic age of the Grand Canyon is 'no comment.'"

A public agency is supposed to withold facts from the public as to not offend a group of people who seem to be offendedy by everything except the bible?! What is this world coming to?!

About the Church attitude towards buddhists and other the stray people.

- What is the Church attitude towards buddhists and other stray people? Those people who don't know Christ but they live according to His words and don't know about that? Do humble, kind, lovely and truly good people will go to hell?
Rescue you the Lord.

-The church considers all people who have not accepted Christ and His Gospel as stray sinners who had rejected the expiation accomplished by Christ. Not having the Son, has no also the Father, Christ has told. He has told also that without Him anybody can do nothing. That's why it is wrong to believe that human kindness and virtue is pleasing to God. How it is possible to
consider as humble a person who instead of God the Creator bows to the creature or who does not accept Christ as the Savior? Without a true faith it is impossible neither to please God nor to be rescued. But it is not enough only a true belief for rescue. There should be a real changing

To all believers in god
Read this and tell me why am wrong
God created your mind,
Which has logical and reasonable thinking; also the brain could be washed especially during our rising
If an Atheist believe from his heart and mined with all logical and reasons or let’s say with low probability brainwashed during his childhood that there is no god
Would your god which is responsible for creation of his mind in this way send the Atheist to hell ,or he wouldn't and break the rules of all religions?ex: through Jesus … Mohamed..etc

what do you base your choice of church on? Would you be more likely to attend one that preaches mainly scriptures, sings hymns and psalms, and everyone dresses conservatively or go to a more contemporary service? Please give reasons why you choose a certain service or denomination. Thanks

Our family had a living trust for 16 years and long story short, it was designated for all 3 children. 2 weeks before dad died, he broke the trust, and gave my brother a brand new car, and all the trust $ to him that was supposed to be divided up for all of us.

My mother and I have had dreams of our dad telling my brorther S. to help out the family financially, (my mom and I dreamed this at the same time) and my brother S. always calls and wonders what happened to the $$, and so like he's curious, like something is troubling him very deeply. My brother didn't even spend one dime for the funeral while my whole family had to chip in 20K for the whole funeral. Your thoughts????

My question is why is my dad coming to mom and me in our dreams, instead of my brother S who has all the $$$

...from Genesis 6.
Wouldn't that be like the Jurassic Park for believers?
I mean how cool is that? It is way cooler than dinosaurs!
And it would make money.
I wish someone could call Mel Gibson.

I'd like to narrow this question to a particular respondent: creationists, or people who do not believe in the theory of evolution. I would like to know if you also disbelieve in the atomic-molecular theory. If you do believe in the latter theory, please explain why do you believe in the atomic-molecular theory?

I hope this question isn't too difficult to answer, as I've tried to explain it thoroughly this time to get a response. Thanks for any answers in advance.

you convince me why the catholic faith is false. Please fully know what catholic beliefs are before going againts them, not saying ignorant things you heard from others such as..catholics pray to statues, or purgatory means that you could save someone from hell, or saying that catholics calling father is any diff. from calling ones own dad father, or catholics believe that priest can take away ones sins, because these accusation seem ignorant. (Please also note that we believe that once you die you go directly to Hell or Heaven or first purgatory before heaven and that is why we do not believe that saints are dead but alive in God and they can hear our prays and pray for us...and since heaven is not time-bound this would make sense ...but we don't believe saints can answer prayers but God alone) SO please can you convince me using scripture and all 5-10 reasons why the catholic church is false and all, and please only criticize catholic teachings if you only understand them completly.

"No they dont!"

Thats true, out of the hundreds of thosands of scientists worldwide, maybe less that 1% dont accept it.

But they facts are plain. Almost all scientists do. Why? Are they are evil atheists trying to get you religious people? I was raised by a scientists and lived among scientists my whole life. They are not very political as a group, and have only one alligance...scientic data and the logical conclusions that must be true. Thats it.

In fact, the very reason people become scientists often has to do with the fact that, science, offer the only arena of objective truth. Scientists are often socially retarded, but when it comes from objectivity...no other group comes close.

This is to show the mercy of god:
When the man who guided the romans to the location of Jesus. The man felt so guilty, and he committed suicide. The god said: if he asked forgiveness i will forgive him if he asked (my most extreme anger is on the one who under-estimate my mercy and forgiveness). can you give other examples about god mercy.

People's fascination for religion and superstition will disappear within a few decades as television and the internet make it easier to get information, and scientists get closer to discovering a final theory of everything, leading thinkers argue today.

Philosopher Daniel Denett believes that within 25 years religion will command little of the awe it seems to instil today. The spread of information through the internet and mobile phones will "gently, irresistibly, undermine the mindsets requisite for religious fanaticism and intolerance".

Biologist Richard Dawkins said that physicists would give religion another problem: a theory of everything that would complete Albert Einstein's dream of unifying the fundamental laws of physics. "This final scientific enlightenment will deal an overdue death blow to religion and other juvenile superstitions."

Original sin and Adam and Eve have always sounded kind of strange to me. Especially the part about this "sin" having gone down through generations. While it has always seemed to be a myth to me (not historical fact) , if it really is a myth then what was the whole point of Jesus dying for our "sin", of reconciling us to God because of Adam and Eve's original sin???? I don't want a lot of bible quotes please.

First let me say, I'm not out to bash or prove people wrong. I just want to know what the trinitarian belief(s) is/are on this particular event:

Jesus is in the water, the Father's voice comes from above, and the Holy Gost is descending.

What's happening here? Did God project Himself as separate for that moment or something?

I appreciate your answers.

"Probably the Dead Sea Scrolls have had the greatest Biblical impact. they have provided Old Testament manuscripts approximately 1,000 years older than our previous oldest manuscript. The Dead Sea Scrolls have demonstrated that the Old Testament was accurately transmitted during this interval. In addition, they provide a wealth of information on the times leading up to, and during, the life of Christ.
