I'd like to narrow this question to a particular respondent: creationists, or people who do not believe in the theory of evolution. I would like to know if you also disbelieve in the atomic-molecular theory. If you do believe in the latter theory, please explain why do you believe in the atomic-molecular theory?
I hope this question isn't too difficult to answer, as I've tried to explain it thoroughly this time to get a response. Thanks for any answers in advance.

oldguy63: I find it irrational, but not surprising, that you would answer my first question (something similar to "god made molecules") but then state he doesn't know what the atomic-molecular theory is on my second question.

Derek B: So this means you do *not* believe in molecular theory? Then it makes sense for a creationist to believe that life cannot come from non-life. Scientists create RNA based life all the time, and they do so from non-living molecules. By denying there are even molecules, I can see how one can deny evolution as easily.

David R: Even if your innocuous premise was true, I don't see why this would make you believe there are molecules. Will you believe in anything, as long as it doesn't contradict creation? Then *why* do you believe there are molecules?
By your thinking, the creator has a designer, since the creator is orderly. Ad infinitum. Or if the creator doesn't have to have a designer, then why does the universe? Thanks for your answer, it helps me witness the fallacies of creationism.

Atomic molecular theory is in fact,a theory.Just because the law of multiple proportions says it's feasible means nothing. One must be able to recreate the process of compounds, gases, etc. in a laboratory to confirm a theory.
We're supposed to be debating whether life originated from something other than life,or whether there is a creator.I look at it this way,a woman produces an egg when she ovulates. There is no way that egg will ever become anything else without the sperm of a man,or some kind of outside intervention.
When a hen lays an egg,and the egg is incubated,it produces a chick. The egg already had all the elements for life already in it.Take away any element of it's compositon, and it will die. Therefore life comes from life.
Look,Darwin was on this big island checking out the habitat, and he decided hey,I'm going to think up this theory.Truly,I don't believe with one shred of my being that he intended on it going this far.My friend, throwing all religion aside. There is no way life can come from anything else but life.
Peace

From my understanding the atomic-molecular theory and creation do not contradict each other. In the bible it says that God is clearly revealed through His handiwork and that it is plain to see. The fact that there is order in the universe rather than chaos is reflective of intelligent design. If this is a truth assumption that we accept as true then there has to be a designer. The fact that the universe is in harmony and has balance supports the "truth" of a designer. Since the designer of the universe has revealed who He is to man we know that the designer and creator of the cosmos and all of the life in it is God.
It is when you only accept information from inside the "box" that we call the cosmos that your answers are limited to what has been created instead of recognizing that the created has a Creator. When this is done the "view" of life takes on a narrow perspective and truth assumptions have to be made that have no veracity.

For those asking what it is -- It is the theory that most observable matter is made up of atoms that combine into molecules.
It is by the atomic-molecular theory that we "know" that water is made up of molecules that are ALL composed of two hydrogen atoms and one oxygen atom.

Johovan: Quantum physics details exactly why electrons are bound into the various orbitals. The schrodinger equation guarantees electrons can only exist in those quantized orbitals. It would take quantum tunneling to get them to escape the atom entirely on their own, which would be a large deviation against the Heisenburg Indeterminancy Principle, so it could only 'escape' for a very brief moment of time.
Johovan: Ah, so because science doesn't have ALL the answers yet, 'goddidit', hmm? What do you do then when all the gaps get filled? Where will your god be then?

I believe, however.... recently scientist announced that they have no idea as to what keeps an atom from falling apart. What keeps the electrons from flying off the atom? They have no idea!
Same with the universe. What keeps everything glued together?
They can account for 4% of the energy that keeps the universe in place..... but what about the other 96% left?
I truly believe God is in play here.

Don't know what the atomic molecular theory is. Explain please. Do you believe in a sub lapsarian or supra lapsarian view of Adam and Eve? I am a theologian not a chemist so speak in lay terms if you actually want an answer.
Edit: Thanks J.P. for helping out. It is amazing how fascinating God's creation is. Yea I think I can agree with that.

I believe it. The universe from atoms to the solar system are well ordered. + and - polarity.
No chaos.
All animals live to eat or be eaten.
No chaos.
Humans are the only homsexual breed, or would you like to enter a bullpen? That's part of the chaos caused by free-will.
Good luck with all your other justifications. They don't hold water.

it relatively is a legitamite question. I advise the existance of molecules has on no account been surely shown. that's a thought which balances maximum human beings of equations. that's purely as theoretical as evolution. that's probable what the asker is eluding to. you could no longer make one among these blanket fact. There probable are christians who have not got faith in molecules. like people who carry technological awareness in contempt. people who use words like "devolution"... There are christians who have faith in Darwin's thought of evolution. Then there is christians who have faith the international is flat (no longer kidding). i assume the only singular authority on christian ideals is the pope. So we ponder whether the pope belives in molecules...... Who the f(#ok is familiar with????

I'm not a Creationist, but you might need to explain what that theory is. I don't know what it is so I wouldn't be able to answer even if I was a Creationist. :)
