"Probably the Dead Sea Scrolls have had the greatest Biblical impact. they have provided Old Testament manuscripts approximately 1,000 years older than our previous oldest manuscript. The Dead Sea Scrolls have demonstrated that the Old Testament was accurately transmitted during this interval. In addition, they provide a wealth of information on the times leading up to, and during, the life of Christ.

I tend to agree with you, although I really would love to see the Ark of the Covenant.(at least in peaceful hands)

Have you heard about the Hittites?
One among many examples is the fact that for many years the existence of the Hittites (a powerful people who lived during the time of Abraham) was questioned because no archaeological digs had uncovered anything about them. Critics claimed the Hittites were pure myth. But today the critics are silenced. Abundant archaeological evidence for the existence of the Hittites during the time of Abraham has been uncovered.

That Noah ark is indeed on Mt Ararat in Turkey, That Mt Sinai is in Saudi Arabia as stated in Scripture. That the shroud of Turin is the burial linen of Christ, That the ark of the covenant was 20 ft. under the crucifixion stake of Christ and the earthquake opened the ground so that HIS blood poured on the ark. That Joseph was indeed IMHOTEP of Egypt. I could go on and on. The Biblical Record is 100% accurate every time! Praise Yahweh. You have to be willingly ignorant not to see TRUTH.

My personal favorite is the gnostic bible discovered a decade or so after the dead sea scrolls. It proves that the new testament is nothing more than a bunch of compilations from a few hundred people. Jesus never said most of those things and never wanted people to do the things the bible says. But then to even have heard about it could have gotten you boiled in oil.

Dead Sea Scrolls are pretty important, but I think I would point to the archaeological forgeries of the James Ossuary and the Jehoash Inscription as they are very important to remind people to raise skepticism and truly examine "artifacts" rather than accepting them because you want to much for them to be real. I think they taught a very important lesson.

I would have to agree to an extent. There are also other scroll that are much newer than the date in your reference that were in the same hiding place.
My opinion is different. I would say the tablets that contain the Gilgamesh Epic, as it pre-dates any Jewish writings and has some of the same myths as in Genesis, showing where the legends of the garden and the flood originated.

By comparing the manuscript copies of the New Testament, textual scientists can reconstruct with a high degree of accuracy (99.9%) what the original New Testament said.

Oooh! How about the discovery that the Egyptian pyramids were actually built by paid farmers rather than by slaves? Or the one that showed that half a million people didn't dwell in the Sinai desert for 40 years within the last six thousand years?
