Please, oh please explain to me how atheism is logical. "There's no proof for God", nono my friend, there is evidence for God all around you and within you, you just ignore it.

yet the word translated into the english 'god' is of two different forms from the original Greek.(two different sets of vowel pointers)
When i look up the word in Strong's(Greek#2316) the primary meaning of the word theos is a quality of a person not a title.
Is it not a little deceptive to refer to this verse to try and support a trinitarian doctrine?

If Christians are criticized for believing in a non-existant God, and are also criticized for having faith and believing that he is the true God. Why do you belive the things that you call "true" are "true". Why do you believe that there is wind
Why do you believe that the number "1" is really "1".
Who do you think created the human race?
Why is the colour red called "red"?
Why do you accept the things that you do?

Can you believe the Rolling Stones wrote a song with those lyrics in it? They aren't exactly that kind of group, are they?

Besides mininites not using electricity and all of that sort of thing what is the difference between the way Church of Christ (non-denominatonal) believes and the way mininites believe. I know we both don't believe in playing music in church, but that's all I really know in the differences.

Thanks!

ANKARA, Turkey - Over a thousand Turks spent the first day of the Muslim feast of Eid al-Adha in emergency wards on Sunday after stabbing themselves or suffering other injuries while sacrificing startled animals.

At least 1,413 people — referred to as "amateur butchers" by the Turkish media — were treated at hospitals across the country, most suffering cuts to their hands and legs, the Anatolia news agency reported.

the rest of the story is at: http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20061231/ap_on_re_mi_ea/turkey_animal_sacrifice_3

I thought only santera, voodoo, and african religions did sacrifices, does anyone know more?

I know, some say he's the Son of God, others say he's God. Here's a question for those of you who say he's God:

Here is God, the Creator of everything that exists, from the unknown wonders of the Cosmos, the Universe and every galaxy and star within it and all its physical laws, the miracle of life in all it's forms, the twinkle in a child's eye. We're also told the this God did miracles on Earth, things like parting the Red Sea, walking on water, and making blind people see.

So my question is this: Wouldn't you think that a God that could do all of this, create everything that exists and do a lot of miracles, wouldn't you think he could figure out some better way to come to Earth than to have himself be born by a virgin? I mean, wouldn't you think he'd just make himself appear here? I mean, how difficult would that be for a God who could create the entire Universe? Instead, he makes poor Mary endure a nine-month pregnancy and give birth in a manger?

I mean to know everything there is to know about everything? If so, do you know someone who knows everything about everything? And if not, do you think it's possible then that God does exsist? Remember absolute knowledge means you know 100% sure there is no possible way God exsists, but Faith doesn't need any evidence at all.

That God ask for faith first; and evidence comes later

faith first;prosperity later
faith first;mysteries of the universe later
faith first;what you want later
Obey God's commandments first;Give you what you want later

Hebrew 11:6-But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

Matthew 6:33-But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Remember, we(intelligent life) are subject to God;not God to us.

Again, why does the concept of faith first seem to offend ya'll?

Note:Faith is not the lack of logic;but through faith & humility it extends logic so we can understand what we cant easily percieve with our natural senses.
